The quality is excellent and easy to assemble. It’s sturdy in the ground and moves with the slightest breeze. Be aware that you have to leave the top cap loose so that it can spin or tighten it if you don’t want it to spin. We clear coated ours to keep the copper look. It’s the perfect addition to our rose garden.

Beautifully hand crafted. It was easy to put together and moves with the slightest of breeze. I sprayed mine to protect my copper look. All my neighbors have stopped to compliment me on my spinner. I highly recommend purchasing this for your yard.

The media could not be loaded. This is a well thought out device from delivery to construction. It arrives in a large box with each of the individual wind bars (for lack of a better word) wrapped very well. There are three poles that come with it and a very well detailed pamphlet of photographed instructions. So you are going to need a trash bin to throw away the mounds of foam and plastic (not recyclable in my area).Each of the wind bars has a circle of brass in the center with a screw inserted in it.The ideal way to do this is to have the poles in the ground (look for the arrows showing you which direction to put the poles (like "this side goes in ground" and "this side points to sky"), then before you put the cap on the top, you have to slide each "wind-bar" onto the pole starting with the smallest oneAND YOU MUST LOOK FOR THE INDENTATION on the copper pole; that is where you are going to aim the screw that is in the circle part of the wind bar.it is important to keep the wind bars all facing the same direction (the concave sides on one side, for example) when you have the screw lined up with the indentation, tighten it.Then you slide the next larger piece on and do the same and keep going until you get to the longest one. The next wind-bar will be the largest one again, then reverse the process until you are at the smallest one. each of the indentations are marked so that the sculpture is aligned perfectly. When you are done, put the two tops on.I sprayed mine, one up with Rust-Oleum 1906830 Lacquer Spray, Clear, 11-Ounce to prevent the copper from oxidizing.I felt accomplished when it was completed like I had helped build it, once it started responding to the wind, and was giving that "DNA" optical illusion, I was 100% satisfied with the purchase.

I have four spinners in an acre property. I can see this one from our kitchen/family room. This is made of copper and I expect it to tarnish like a penny. I could spray with a clear finish or I could polish in the future. It will tarnish.The quality is excellent and I cool to watch when the wind blows. The metal will condense water and freeze. This will freeze the spinner form spinning or turning. Spray it with a White Lithium Grease and you will be set. I sprayed mine and it came alive. Mine has spun ever since. I will likely spray it every once in a while - as I will do with all of the spinners.This spinner takes more wind to make it spin than ones that look like a fan blade or ones with palm size cups. The trade off is the unusual design and how it looks when it spins.Be careful driving it in to the soil. I nearly ruined threads doing so. The instructions want you to drive the pole deep into the ground. Then three adapters attach for stabilization. I do not like this set up. My other spinners have a welded spike next to the pole with an area that you can push your foot against. These adapters are meant to be similar, but I doubt the effectiveness. I strapped a piece of plastic pipe to a wooden fence post and slid the pole inside of it. I could have mounted the brass pole on the post, but I wanted more height (put sticks inside pipe so pole would rest higher) - remember, i wanted to see it from inside my house.I like this spinner and give it five stars for uniqueness. My copper spinner that has multiple 2 inch fan blades is my favorite.

Do not buy from this vendor. We installed this about 45 days ago, and it turned black the first week. The bearings are defective and customer service will not replace them. They said that they don’t have any left. When I ask about the lifetime warranty that refused to answer. Amazon should remove this vendor immediately.

The build quality and materials are great, and its a beautiful piece of kinetic art but...installation could be better:I found that to get it sturdy enough so that it would not wobble (its top heavy) I had to drive a larger diameter steel pipe into the ground first deep (down about 2 feet) and then drive the provided copper pipe into the middle of the larger pipe and screw it into place to keep it plumb. Now its perfect, and spins in even the slightest of a breeze.If this was installed with only the provided copper pipe and stakes I can see where it would blow over or lean and then get off balance never working as intended.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful piece of art for your yard. I did a video comparing this figure 8 tumbler to two other wind spinners I’ve had for 4 years. You can see that there is no comparison, these were not cheap spinners either, but you can see they haven’t held up well. This piece is so sensational in person, the video doesn’t do it Justice.Make the investment! I was surprised at myself for spending this much on one piece, but once I saw how beautiful it is, I have ordered two more designs from this company! LOVE IT!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
