Great matrix ps4 not so friendly.
I bought this within the month and it's a perfect product. Deserves the 5 stars. But the ps4 does not play nicely with it. I believe the problem is the auto detection in the ps4. So I have a 7.1 setup on TV1 and a 2.0 stereo setup on TV2 and when the ps4 detects the normal tv first I have to play around with the matrix to get a video on the 7.1 system which usually ends up being me changing the TV2 to a separate input on the matrix then power down the matrix and turn it on with the 7.1 system only. Then add the 2nd tv. I have also tried the manual audio switches on the matrix and the ps4 don't care it just smirks and laughts. Overall my chromecast, Apple TV, and PS3 play well with the matrix and it works great just beware the ps4.

Works great when not changing anything
I have this on a pretty-much permanent 4K connection, and it's been borderline perfect... only a few glitches in years. Where it falls short is the remote control is extremely sub-standard and the unit can be non-responsive to it on a regular basis. This unit definitely needs push-button selection to be effective.

Works perfectly, good value for price.
Ok, I very rarely write reviews but felt I needed to do so for this product. I replaced a much more expensive HDMI 4x2 matrix switch which the OREI HD-402, primarily because I wanted EDID control. Very pleased with this purchase, and unlike some other reviews I've had no issue with the auto EDID switch setting (1111). Auto setting worked perfectively - i.e. it automatically used the lowest video/audio resolution setting of connected output devices. But I use the OREI to force 1080p 7.1 output regardless of lower resolution connected devices, something my previous $300 HDMI matrix didn't permit. Bottom line, the OREI works as advertised at a very affordable price relative to other similar featured HDMI Matrix switches.

Awesome Product
This item was as described in the description and it was delivered on time. the only issue I notice is when i am playing my PS5 there is a flickering on the TV and before that i have to unplug the HDMI cord for the ps5 to show on the TV but other that that it works fine.

Works great after a bit of debugging
I originally was planning on returning this after a day failures, trying to make it work. After purchasing another switch and that one also failed I decided to try again. Here are my requirements: 1. HDMI-CEC 2. work with apple tv,ps4,firetv, popcorn hour 3. must pass all audio My first attempt as I stated earlier, was a failure, but not the fault of the switch. It turns out, atleast on my Sony W630B, because this switch is MHL compatible it NEEDED to be plugged in on the MHL/HDMI port. Every other port had it acting VERY oddly, lockups, no HDMI-CEC, no passing AAC audio. Then it dawned on me about the MHL, once plugged into the port 1(MHL compatible) it all just worked! It satisfied all my requirements. And my EDID settings on the switch it set to auto. So why the -1 star, well not to mention the debugging required to figure it out how to make it work. But there was a problem with HDMI-CEC. When I would plug in multiple devices that use CEC, it seems they would all get confused. Even my PS4 would poweron when I would switch to my firetv, after I powered down my PS4. It seems to me that the CEC protocol was being broadcasted to all the ports. Not sure why it would do this since it is suppose to be a switch and not a HUB. So for the price point its a good deal, maybe if I bought a $300-$500 unit it would resolve my CEC problem. And yes, all my hardware have their firmware up-to-date not even 1 month old. So for now, I keep 1 CEC compat on the switch with all the other units being non-CEC compat. Havent had time to plug in my projector on the 2nd output port but it worked fine when plugged into my TV.

Doesn't work for PCs/Laptops
Set up was simple enough, but the problem was that it would not switch between the inputs all the time. I had 2 laptops hooked up to this, with 2 monitors. I wanted the possibility to split screen or dual screen anytime I wanted. In theory, this device should have worked, but unfortunately when I switch over to another laptop or try to go dual screen to another laptop the input would only sometimes pick up. And simply switching back and forth trying to get it to recognize wouldn't fix the problem. I would have to result to powering off the device, unplugging monitors, etc, to finally get it to register. If you are planning on using this for computers/laptops, don't bother. And yes, everything was updated; Drivers/Updates/etc. Running Windows 10 for a reference. For those looking for a similar experience to mine, here is what I ended up doing. I used a USB external video card, connected to IOGEAR USB3.0 switchers, connected to USB3.0 Hubs, which then connected to each laptop. Each monitor is connected to an external video card, which is connected to the IOGEAR USB switcher, one connection of each USB switcher is connected to a USB hub, which is connected to a laptop. So Connection 1 of USB switcher 1, and Connection 1 of USB switcher 2 is connected to Hub 1 for Laptop 1, and Monitor 1 would be connected to USB switcher 1. For more PCs, connect Connection 2 of USB switcher 1, and Connection 2 of USB switcher 2 to Hub 2, which would connect to Laptop 2. The hub is needed since I have other USB devices connected to each laptop. If you have plenty of USB ports, you can take the Hub out. It's a bit convoluted, but it works almost flawlessly, allowing me to split screen or dual screen at the push of a button.

Works Perfectly
The product is perfect for a multi-input, dual-output HDMI system. It works seamlessly with my home entertainment system and the IR capacity on the remote picks up commands at quite a distance. I've had other devices like this that you basically have to walk right up to to get them to pick up signals from a remote. I'm very pleased that this one doesn't have that problem.

Support leaves a lot to be desired.
I use the UHD 402 with my Amazon fire stick my Google tv and my Roku. Everything works as it should. My disappointment came when I emailed support if I could use their UHD 935 or their UHD939 with the UHD 402 so I could receive Dolby Atmos when available and the best way to connect it all. I waited a day for their answer and was asked if my tv had arc and if my Marantz pre-amp had arc by my first support team member. I answered that question and another day later I received the instruction from my second support team member on how to connect the 402 by arc ( not earc ) to both my Plasma tv and my Marantz 8802A pre-amp. Nothing about connecting the 935 or the 939 or if I even could connect them. So I asked the question again and 24 hours later I received an answer from my third support team member telling me in part what the first team member sent me but still nothing about whether or not I could use the 935 or the 939 with the 402 or how I should connect everything. It's apparent that they look at the email from customers first thing in the morning and only then and don't bother to read the previous communication. That is why just answering one of their questions will set you back 24 hours. And here I am over a week later without a clue whether I can use their product. So I won't, at least for now until I know for sure if they are compatible.
