Not so useful........fewer of facts ......so many references....content taken from different sources......much eclectic.

The Book matter is good and helpful for any English language teacher. Why am I giving only 2 stars is because of the quality of the Book's matterial. I feel very disappointed when I get to hold and see the material. It's just worth to pay RS. 500. Not more than that at all.

Must buy for teachers

Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language is edited by Marianne Celce-Murcia, Donna M. Grinton, David Bohlke and Marguerite Ann Snow. It is the fourth edition of the book and a comprehensive guide to this subject. The book is divided into six units with the following titles: 1. Foundations of Methodology 2. Language Skills 3. Skills for teachers 4. Integrated approaches 5. Focus on the learner 6. Focus on the teacher Each unit contains a number of articles by various authors. In all, the book provides a valuable reference volume to any teacher who wants to understand how to teach English better to those for whom English is not their native language. As a teacher of this subject myself, I find it particularly helpful in many ways.

The book arrived two days after the promised date, but aside from that, I was happy with the purchase. Just make sure to allow at least 2-3 days extra from the dates mentioned if you need the book for a course.

For the further study, I guess it would be awesome choice for learners.
