Mark Twain Math Projects Activity Book, Puzzles and Hands-On Geometry, Fractions, Ratio, Algebra, and More Mathematics Activities for Kids Grades 5 and Up

I am a 6th grade math teacher, and the students are really enjoying these activities. The first day I brought it to class, I gave the students a choice of 5 different projects to choose from. They chose designing a rocket out of geometric shapes and then converting the measurements to scale up to poster size. They worked in groups of three. As the groups finished, they asked if they could do another project. So far, it is great.

I'll be using this for my class's math fair program at the start of the next school year. This gave me some great ideas!

Creative easy to implement ideas. Kept children's attention and implemented math in everyday way for them to see application of the learned skills.

There are a few good ideas in here, but it wasn’t as useful as I had hoped. It’s not bad. Just not really what I was looking for. Have yet to use any ideas from it.

Having detail projects that are already well thought out means I can do more then one each nine weeks. Plus it makes it easier to find one that directly ties into the concept in which I am going over currently. Nice Job.

Great book with lots of ideas! Easily adaptable for all skill levels. My class has already done 3 of the projects and can't wait to start the next!
