I finally received this product after trying to order it 3 times. Overall the product is a good representation to explain one shape of bacteria to students.

Good for young learners
Sturdy and colorful. Nice item for young scientists. Not ideal for any advanced learners, but definitely nice for the younger ones. Good quality for the price and makes a nice display piece with the other items I purchased with it.

Great model for biology class
This is a great hands on model, I use it in combination with the virus, animal cell, and plant cell from the same company so students can see the difference between the four. I have one set of the four that I have used for about five years that show no wear even though they have been handled by lots of students. I recently added a few sets for my larger classes, I recommend these for teaching the types of cells.

Exactly what I needed for my classroom
I bought this as a basic model to use side-by-side with a large animal and plant cell model. It demonstrates effectively how prokaryotic cells are much smaller and simpler than eukaryotic ones for students. Students said it really helped them to grasp the concepts. Would highly recommend it.
