I used to use a more expensive setting spray but switched to this to save money. I’ve used it for years now and will be sticking with it ! It lasts for so long and gives my skin a dewy glow while keeping my makeup on my face . I’ll even go workout and it still stays on. The spray comes out as a heavy mist but in a good way - I get lots of coverage in one spray. Recommend you to cover your lashes and hair with your other hand when spraying. The bottle size is travel friendly but it really does last a long time .

Friends, this is my go to setting spray because it actually WORKS. Unfortunately, this summer I ran out and decided to try a different brand. On days where it was 85 degrees and above, my face was like nothing but an oil slick and greasy. It's like, just when you think you are looking cute, you look in the mirror and realize you have enough oil on your face to help moisturize ashy knuckles or ashy ankles. 😮‍💨 That's why I decided to come right back to Amazon and order this NYX Matte Finish Fini because it NEVER fails friends. And what's worse, is that people don't tell you that you are looking that greasy. Come on now!😮‍💨 For me, using this setting spray is one of the easiest things about my beauty routine. It dries fast, the scent is decent and nothing offensive, it's easy to use and it has a very reasonable price point. My skin doesn't feel sticky after using it which is also a PLUS. I'm not saying I'm trying to look casket ready to go on and meet the lord everyday, but I do love a nice matte look when I wear my makeup.😌 This setting spray always brings my makeup together in the heat to make sure I look snatched all the way up through out the day. I tried another product and it didn't work. Surprise surprise. I will be sticking with NYX from here on out. You've got my loyalty. P.S. The only thing I would seriously prefer is some type of safety plastic or sticker or something to let consumers know whether or not a product has been tampered with or not. A safety seal is important for products like this. Not just a easily removal plastic cap. But an actual safety seal. Anyway, that's my two sense.

I prefer morphe, but good for value when I want something cheaper. NYX hasn’t failed me. No sticky at all which I love. Seems to hold up through out the day

Works really well for me! I had it on one day and ended up caught in a bad rainstorm as I made my way into work (which is a bit of a walk from my parking spot) and my makeup didn't budge!

This is my favorite setting spray! It goes on super well, dries quickly, and helps my makeup last through a long (longgg) teaching day! I rotated between this setting spray and another in college when i was In marching band and it kept my makeup on my face during those hot gameday and kept my uniform clean!

I have combination skin, super oily but can also get dry when I use retinol (but ALWAYS) oily, textured, large pores, acne scarring, acne prone, sensitive skin. My skin get oily within an hour of makeup application so I always buy setting spray in the hopes that it will help. I bought the NYX Matte Setting Spray to see if it would help and this is my honest review. It is a fair price, sprays pretty evenly (occasionally get big globs that spray out but it mostly mists fine), it's odorless, doesn't make my sensitive skin react, doesn't flare up my acne, dries quickly and completely, doesn't leave any noticeable residue behind and feels light on my skin. Did this work for me? No. I didn't notice a difference. There is only ONE setting spray that I have ever used that has shown me results (Charlotte Tilbury). This was just snake oil. My face wasn't any more matte using this and my oily skin still made my makeup cake/smear. I still used the whole bottle clinging to the hope that it was doing something but honestly, I don't think this was it for me. If you have truly oily skin like me, I wouldn't recommend this setting spray for noticeable results.. I'm giving it 3 stars because it didn't cause any problems with my skin, but it also didn't set my makeup or mattify my skin. Hope this helps!

This setting lotion is amazing. I can be working in fast paced, warm conditions and yet my make up looks fresh and does not run. I spritz it on, dry it with a hand fan, and I am off. It lasts until I take it off in the evening.

Nice settling spray.Can be used after makeup or on beauty blender brush when applying products. gives refreshing feeling to skin after makeup .however does not hold make up products for long as claimed . Price is ok for product

bottle came without cap. please be more careful next time.

I was expecting more of this product, I have oily skin and still after a couple hours I don’t see my makeup perfect or the Matt effect anymore
