Great item. Works very good!
Refillable 1Lb propane tanks are awesome. I have a couple of the Mr Heater Big Buddy heaters that I use these with. Easy to refill with the Flame King refill kit. Be sure to keep up with your 2mm Allen wrench, good thing each tank will include an Allen wrench. Tanks look like what is pictured. Very functional. Works well. Perfect size. Be sure your order includes the 2mm Allen wrench. While leaving this review I notice Amazon has Ideas of "Water capacity and water flow" strange!

Great tanks that save lots of money.
These are absolutely needed if you use this size propane tank at all. They fill completely very easily, and with the set screw opening on them you will know when they are full. Heavy made and should last a lifetime. I just bought 3 more again. I can fill one for about $1. Or….I can buy a throw away bottle for about $5 each at Walmart. I’ve had no problems or rust on these after using them many times for a year. I should have bought these years ago. Worth the money.

Major improvement over throw away tanks
Soooo much better than the throw aways. Bought the flame king refill adaptor and refilling was easy from my 20# tank. Note that normal refill is about 80% of a lb rather than 1 lb. Lots of ideas out there how to maximize this, but I'm always going to bring a spare tank no matter what anyway so now have two refillable tanks. Weigh the cylinders when you get them (empty) and write it on the tanks so that you can easily check to see how filled they are.

Solid and thick. Easy to use relief pressure let off to help filling.
These seem to be quality built and perfect refill bottle. Easy enough to use, do the job. A little more expensive than I think they should be, like everything I guess, but ise them a few times and save money. I’ve always just re-filled store bought cheaper ones just fine. This is nicer, and I like the drain -off valve style to help relief of pressure while you fill.

Great service
I had a problem with the tank. Called flame king and they are sending me a new tank. We use flame king with our Mr heater and really like them. I have been using them off and on with our heater for 10 years. Very economical to refill and reuse instead of costing $5 for a tank it cuts your cost to 75 cents a tank depending where you get your big tank filled. Customer service was very good.

works great with any refill adapter
works great and you can use any refill adapter...I bought a few of these and sometimes there is no allen key with the tank...you might need to buy your own 2mm allen key if it is not included as it is supposed to be...but these are easy to fill up...you need to turn the large tank you are filling from upside down and keep the small tank you are filling upright...use the allen key to open the release valve on the small tank so the air pressure can escape while filling the tank...when the white propane vapor begins shooting out of the release valve on the small tank, the tank is full and you immediately close the release valve with the allen key...best to leave the key in the release valve until you are finished ...obviously you want to do this process away from any flame or spark and in a well ventilated area...outside is best..also, it is wise to make sure both tanks are roughly the same temperature...if the small tank is a lot colder than the big tank containing the propane, you might fill the small tank too much because if it is really cold the propane will condense more as it fills...then later when it warms up it will expand and potentially bulge out and deform your tank...which could lead to a much bigger problem as you might imagine...in fact, it is even advisable not to fill the small tank if either tank is very cold, as you'll run into the same overfilling scenario once the small tank is brought into a warmer environment after being filled while either tank is very cold...I keep both tanks in a heated shed/garage for several hours before taking them outside to refill the smaller tank when I'm refilling during the winter months...warmer months don't require any of these refilling precautions, unless for some odd reason you keep your big tank and/or small tank in a freezer...these refillable tanks do not have a pressure release valve built into them that will automatically release pressure if you accidentally overfill the tank...if you are confused by my precautions above, just remember not to refill the small tank if the small tank is really cold (like you left it outside and it is winter cold when you go to refill it) or if the propane in the big tank is really cold (like the big tank was sitting outside in winter cold when you go to use it to refill a small tank)...will it cause an explosion if you do this? probably not the first time, or second time, or third time....but it certainly could at any time...so just be careful

Thank you

Very easy to fill compared to trying to refill the non-refill cylinders. Planning to dump the non-refillables and just use these 3 cylinders
