Joby GripTight Pro TelePod Schwarz/Grau

I wanted a very compact travel tripod. I tried one of the many cheaper brands on offer but it was just too unstable with the phone, I wouldn’t even try it with my small camera. So returned and replaced it with the Joby. So glad I did, this is just the job when even a lightweight travel tripod is too big. I’m travelling overseas later in the year. I don’t want to pack my carbon fibre tripod as I want to travel light this will do everything I need it to. The build quality is obvious the moment you pick it up. The legs are sturdy and the grip feels solid. I’ll be using the selfie not as a selfie but to get pics and videos from different angles or for over objects that are in the way. It looks good and is very versatile. 10/10

I got this after i lost a tripod extender ( i bought one too) It was at a reduced price. I like it a lot. When its closed it can act as a small table monopod or even a selfie stick, the rubber on the stand part means you have a good grip in your hand. Seems sturdy enough even to take my Canon M100. quite stable considering the size. Overall i love it, thinking of getting its larger version for an SLR

My gear doesn’t get a lot of abuse so it will be fine. Only thing I don’t like is the twist to open/close. It’s a bit fiddly .

It is the perfect size for my gopro hero 9. If anyone else wondering, yes it fits in the gopro case. My gopro is in the forevercam aluminium case and I have a hoya cpl filter on so now this is a proper video kit. Can't wait to go travelling again soon

I am a big fan of the gorillapod by JOBY so when looking for a simple stand to use for a microphone or phone I came across this TelePod 325. I was very disappointed with what I got. For the price it should be a lot better. There are many "selfie sticks" on the market dirt cheap, and this should be piled among them and not used to for anything else. The vast majority of the construction is plastic. The legs splay out at only one angle which is not sufficient to provide stability even at the shortest setting. The mechanism used to extend the height relies on you rotating the main fixture by about 40°. As a result, if you rotate anything (or simply knock it), the entire extended height simply collapses, which for me means dropping expensive equipment to the floor. Even when not extended this is wobbly as anything, and I simply do not trust it to stay in place, even with a very light microphone on it. It is also a lot shorter than I expected (from the pictures). Also it is fairly bulky for what it does... This seems a shame as this company's other products are quite special and reliable. I have sent this back for a full refund and will look carefully at whether or not I wish to use anything else from JOBY. Hope this is of help to others..

the product is very useful. I think it is suitable for the action camera. you can get the pro version for heavier machines.

J'ai été très content de ce trépied durant 2 ans. Mais un jour la tête a cassé nette juste en fixant la caméra et impossible réparer. Aucune pièce de rechange dispo. Dommage de devoir jeter un pied si bien conçu à la base...

これにTHETA Z1をつなげたまま鞄に入れていたところ、空港のX線手荷物検査でひっかかりチェックされました。 これは何ですかと聞かれ、理由はわかりませんがちょっと恥ずかしくなりながらカメラですと返答しました。 短縮時の全長が少々長いような気もしますが、他で気になる点はありません。
