Havalon knives Talon Hunt with 3 different blades.
The Havalon kit comes with a nice pouch to keep your knife blades and handle organized. I bought one last year and used it for a season to skin, clean & process over a half dozen wild hogs & an similar amount of whitetail deer. Unfortunately this year I lost my handle. Of course, w/out the handle the blades are essentially useless. I searched everywhere for a source that I could purchase just the Talon Hunt handle only since I already had the (3) blades and sheath pack that comes with it. I even reached out to Havalon and told them the details of my dilemma. They told me that I would have to purchase the entire set again and that they do not sell just the handle part by itself. Sooo, since I did like the set I went ahead and bought another Talon Hunt set just like 1st set I had purchased last year. Well, now I have two separate sheath packs, two complete set of blades and one handle that came with new set. They are kind of expensive but I bit the bullet and now have back up blades. They sell replacement blades you can buy but not replacement handles!!

Not a lengthy blade selection so buyer beware.
The knife and blade system are very nice but suffers one problem, the blade selection. Before you buy this knife be sure to look at their website, Havalon, and see what replacement blades are available. Havalon makes two other models of knives and none of the other two models blades will work with the Talon system. That's ok as long as you don't need one of the blade types found in the other two systems. The Talon knife blade selection is limited unfortunately.
