This handy blow torch is easy to use. I’m able to fill it up quickly with a good amount of fuel. The torch is light but emits a nice, strong heat without leaking. I love it!

I work at a restaurant, and this torch is very handy and easy to use. The ignition works right away, and the flame is strong and easy to adjust. Use it for everything from melting cheese, searing tuna, caramelizing desserts, and adding those nice finishing touches to dishes. It feels solid in the hand, not cheap at all, and it’s lightweight enough to move around quickly during busy service. One important tip: when refilling, make sure to use butane with a long needle nozzle. The short nozzle doesn’t fit. Also has a safety lock.

Compact design with comfortable grip. The adjustable flame is steady and easy to control, great for creme brulee, searing meat, and other cooking tasks. Also works well for small DIY projects like plastic melting or light soldering. Note: butane gas is not included, so make sure to have one ready. Overall, it’s a handy tool for kitchen and home use.

Lightweight with a strong flame. I like the adjustable flame settings and the ability to lock the button so it doesn't accidentally get set off. The only down side is when the flame is too close to whatever is burning or on fire, it will turn off. This is inconvenient for my uses as I need the lower flame level to keep ashes and small wood shavings from blowing around.

Works great well built

I bought this to make my first Creme Brule. It is very sturdy and light weight. It is easy to light and to refuel. Just follow the instructions. My dessert was a success and will make more. This will be handy for other cooking uses as well. I really like the safety lock feature it has.

At this time I must wonder what some people are doing that they're having so much trouble with this item. It took about 3 seconds to fill the torch with propane. No muss no fuss and no spills. So what is all of the negative reviews about how hard this torch is to fill all about? Once filled with propane the torch lit on the first try. Again, what's the bad reviews about the torch not lighting all about? This torch is not an expensive item, but the torch does have a solid feel to it and, the torch appears as if it is well made. The flame adjustments are very responsive. How long will this torch last, well, only time will tell, but I suspect that the way I use such a tool, the torch will last for many years. My take on the negative reviews is...some peoples kids. An updated review will follow, if the torch fails in short order. Good luck.
