Very Easy to use. Customer service is amazing! Our trial period ended. I called the # on the screen. He gave us a code and it works again. You can clearly see how old the person is. You can take pics of them and their ID (front & back), you can set them as barred or see manager and write a reason, or set as VIP. It shows how many times they have been scanned/came to your place. Scans passports as well. Helps with the fake ID’s and if you’re busy and have a line. You can get the line down faster by scanning the ID’s. Love the strap that’s on the case. It fits in your hand perfectly w/o worrying you’re going to drop the scanner. Great scanner for the price! Thank you!

Originally when shopping for a device that could help store my customers info and keep up with if they are able to return or not, i was torn between this and a different device. i mean this is a little pricy for me, and i wanted to be sure i was spending that money on something that could fill my needs as descried earlier. once the item arrived i was eager to test it and see if i had made a wise decision or not. I am pleased to say that after testing it on my own license at home all my worries went away. You can pretty much just turn it on and start scanning out of the box. i used it later on that night (this past Saturday) and got more comfortable with the item the more I used it (you basically just push a button and scan an id then repeat on the next). I haven't used it enough to know if there is anything i don't like with it but so far it all seems good. I called for support this Monday just for clarification to a question I had. the support was super courteous, fast, and helpful. they even offered to instruct me on how to set it up on my computer as well since they were already on the phone (usually support is trying to get off the phone). so long story short don't worry about this device if you are having a hard time deciding. ill leave my pros/cons thoughts now. Pros- seems to be made of very good quality, it is definitely professional looking, it captures all the info plus some that i am interested in for my application (bar/club business), support is top notch, easy to use. I haven't used it enough to know any cons about it. ive used and played with it a good bit and so far like everything about it. if i do find anything i dont like ill return and post it. bottom line, if you are looking for a device that can quickly and easily scan id's and store/ remember the info or for it to do whatever it says it is able to do, then get it!!

Great solution for our company. This scans in & out all people coming & going through our security gate. It's perfect. Light weight. Easy to use and hold a charge. I've bought 2 now as we expand and plan on buying a 3rd.

Handheld device covers camera, making camera useless. Cannot take a picture of ID at all. Unit is fine, works - however unless you pay a fortune you do not get updates. Basically it will tell you the age the ID says (does math for you) but only recognizes about 5% of fake ID'S if you don't pay for the constant update membership. In the end this device does look good to the liqour authorities, even though it can't really spot a fake ID.

The scanner is very well built and came with a great case that will help if dropped and with day to day use. The software has plenty of features to look for specific age ranges, fake IDs, recognize "Banned" individuals and much more. Very mobile as well. Perfect solution for our taproom!

Great product. Fast, reliable scanning of ids and passports. Helps our business weed out the underage fake ids, keep track of return customers and also patrons that have been banned for various reasons. Customer service is always prompt and very helpful. Would suggest to any bar or club!
