desertcart.com: Bama Mayonnaise: Grocery & Gourmet Food Review: Yuck! - My family isn't usually very picky about eating and we don't often have a problem with store or off brands. Sadly, in the case of Bama Mayonnaise, we have a big problem. This does not taste like mayonnaise. It is so gross. My kids would rather eat beets or spinach than have me use this stuff. It isn't even a good substitute for mayonnaise in our house. I suppose the biggest problem is that no one in my family cares for Miracle Whip. Bama Mayonnaise doesn't taste at all like real mayonnaise, but it does taste exactly like Miracle Whip. So if you are looking for a cheap knock off of Miracle Whip, purchase the Bama. If you are looking to use something in place of your real mayonnaise, look elsewhere. Stick with the name brands or try something else. Even buying this stuff on sale, as I did, is a big waste. Buying something that you are never going to use because it repulses you is always a waste. I wish I didn't try to save 45 cents. Too late now! Review: LOVE This Product - Believe it or not, we first were introduced to Bama Mayonnaise in W. Africa!! My family loves the flavor -- my son, in fact, used to eat ketchup and mayonnaise sandwiches until we moved back to the States. I couldn't find Bama in my grocery store, so I used the store brand. When we went back to W. Africa to visit, he was into them again, and we realized the reason he liked the sandwiches in Africa was because the mayonnaise tasted so great! I also have not enjoyed the flavor of the ranch dressing packets we mix with the mayo in the States. We are back in W. Africa again for the summer, and have realized what we've been missing. I'm now determined to find Bama in the States. Unfortunately, desertcart currently is out. :-( So I searched the web, and discovered that Bama should be in my local Walmart! I will keep checking back with desertcart to see if the price is cheaper. But either way, I am happy!

!0 Stars for Bama Mayonnaise, but can only give 5.
I am 65 years old, and grew up with Bama Mayonnaise. If there were 10 stars, I would give Bama all of them. My wife has made Potato Salad for persons from states that do not carry Bama, and they rave over it and when the compare recipes, the difference is the Bama. The next best is Blue Plate.

Love This Mayo
Grew up with Bama products. They also have jams and jellies and my family and I love it all. When I make a dish that calls for mayonnaise, it must be Bama for me. Folks that have gotten recipes from me have tried other brands and their dish never turns out as good. Many folks have switched to Bama because it certainly makes a difference rather you're using it in a recipe, on a sandwich or like me, as a dressing on a salad. LOVE IT.
