Cumbor Weather Stations with Wireless Indoor Outdoor Sensor, Black

This is a cool looking gadget. The screen is very bright and the numbers are large enough so you can see them from across the room. Indoor and outdoor temps seem to be accurate. I think it has great potential, and someone who is familiar with these can probably figure it out. However, something very important is missing, a good and complete manual. There is a manual included, but it hardly tells you anything or explains the different functions in depth. As another reviewer noted, it was written by someone who cannot communicate well in English. These two issues with the manual make it useless. I can't figure out how to get it to read the forecast correctly. For the last 3 days, it has displayed full sun, during which time it has been very cloudy outside. And the "LEARNING..." notification...I have no idea what that means and why it constantly displays that. That tells me it needs to do something but can't for some reason. And another thing, in the top left corner, it has these 3 bars that read "humid", "good", and "dry", with an arrow above that moves between these three bars. Again, what is that and what does it mean? Really, I hate to leave bad reviews but honestly without a complete explanation of everything and how to use and understand the weather station, what good is it? I wish I could be happy about this purchase but as it stands now, I'm kind of bummed about it. If anyone reading this has any clue about these issues I've mentioned, I would very much appreciate some direction. Thanks!

I have three weather station, including this one, all from different manufacturers and this weather station is my favorite.Why? This unit has several features that my other stations don't that I really like.1) The unit will run with only battery power. It comes with a wall plug but I'm not using it because when you use the batteries the display turns off after 8 seconds. This is great if you, like me, want to sleep in a dark room.2) You don't have to touch the weather station to activate the back light. Simply tapping on the surface that the station is on will activate the backlight.3) This weather station will show the high and low temperature for both the indoor and outdoor temps. This is great as my wife is always asking the high and low temps for a knitting project.4) I haven't had the station long enough to know how good the forecast function is but I do like that they have six different forecasts.5) Finally, this unit shows barometric pressure which my other stations don't. The station only samples barometric pressure ever sixty minutes so it wouldn't be very useful if you live in an area with fast changing weather conditions, like tornados.While I really like this station I do have couple of small complaints.1) They supply an actual owners manual. The manual is written in a nice large font making it easy to read but it's obvious that the manual was written by an English as a second language writer. The information is there but some sections require reading two or three times.2) My last comment is about the clock alarms. I've gotten so used to using a clock program on my iPhone that allows me to set multiple alarms, this station has two alarms but little flexibility. I like to set a different wake up alarm for a different time on the weekends and you cannot set alarms based on days of the week.Overall, the positive features of this weather station out weight my minor concerns. The station is easy to read, no more difficult to set up than my other weather stations, has barometric pressure and doesn't need to be plugged into the wall make it a winner in my book.

OK, we’re “older” and maybe don’t get what the instructions are saying, but they feel like a lot of techno-gibberish without saying much. We’ve had this system for only a few days but we CANNOT figure out how to connect the sensor with the main unit. It won’t connect when it’s 3” away nor when it’s 5’ away. We got this mainly for seeing the outdoor temperature when we get up in the morning. If someone else with this product has figured it out and could assist us, we’d be grateful.On the plus side, the display is bright, colorful and easy to read. I’m sure we’ll be thrilled with it once it’s all working right. P.S. yes, the batteries are all in the correct spaces, in the right way. We both use computers, so we’re not completely clueless! 😂ONE WEEK LATER: The seller responded to my initial review, and I must admit they gave me extremely good service. We tried a couple different fixes (didn’t work), but finally — after we were offered a replacement or refund — we hit on a solution that worked for us. I honestly think the original instructions did not address this correctly, but I’m also aware that two languages probably got in the way to begin with. We now have a functioning unit, and we are very happy with it. This seller is 100% willing to do what it takes to give customers a great experience, in a very timely manner. Five stars!
