Perfect Hair Clips for Every Hair Type!
These Curl Keeper claw clips have revolutionized my daily hair routine and have become absolute essentials in my styling arsenal! As someone with thick, curly hair who struggles to find clips that actually hold securely without slipping or breaking hair, this 12-pack has solved every frustration I've had with hair accessories. The roller jaw clamp design is ingeniously effective for both thick and thin hair types. The wide teeth distribute pressure evenly without creating those painful pressure points that traditional clips often cause during extended wear. I can wear these comfortably for hours without headaches or the indentations that smaller clips typically leave in my hair. What impressed me most is how securely these clips hold without being overly tight or damaging. The grip is firm enough to manage my thick, heavy curls during styling or while getting ready, but gentle enough that I don't experience breakage or pulling when removing them. This balance is incredibly difficult to achieve, and these clips nail it perfectly. The medium size is absolutely perfect for versatile styling options. I use them for everything from sectioning hair during styling routines to creating quick updos for workouts or professional meetings. They hold enough hair to be practical for thick textures while not being so large that they overwhelm fine or thin hair types. The 12-pack quantity is brilliant because I'm always losing hair clips or need multiple clips for different styling techniques. Having this many means I can keep them in various locations - bathroom, gym bag, office desk, car - without constantly searching for clips when I need them. The value for getting a dozen quality clips is outstanding. The construction quality feels durable and professional-grade. After months of daily use, the spring mechanisms still work perfectly without loosening or becoming weak. The teeth remain sharp and effective, and the overall structure shows no signs of wear despite constant use and occasional dropping. These clips work beautifully with both wet and dry hair, making them perfect for wash-day routines when I need to section damp curls for product application. They don't slip on wet hair like many clips do, which has made my styling process much more efficient and frustrating-free. For anyone tired of flimsy hair clips that slip, break hair, or cause discomfort, these Curl Keeper claws deliver the perfect combination of security, comfort, and durability that makes them worth having multiples of in every hair routine.

Pretty good item for thick curls
These clips work pretty well. I have thick course hair so for the most part they work. The only negative thing I can say is that they are top heavy so they tend to just bend over and not hold the hair up if I put them in sections of hair that don't have as much hair in them. I think if your hair is thin or fine that these probably would not work very well but for thick curly hair they do work.

They work!
I have 2C/3A hair that weighs itself down when wet, so my roots end up plastered to the top of my head. I’ve tried so many different things to get some volume at the top. These clips actually work! The routine: mostly dry the hair (80%? 90%?), then place the clips around the part line. I prefer holding them lengthwise at the part and grabbing hair upward like a claw. That seems to work better for me than setting them at a 90-degree angle (which gives my hair lumps). Then I leave them there for a long time. My hair takes forever to finish drying. I look totally silly for a while, and the cat was scared of my new look at first, but it’s all worth it.

Not a strong grip

Large, loose claws.
Claws are large. Didn't work in my hair. I couldn't keep them in place.

Perfect for wavy and average thickness hair
I have wavy hair and it is not thick by any means. These are perfect. Used them only once so far and they were easy to put in and stayed in place. I did try them on my 80 year old mother and they did not work for her as her hair is thinning. I am going to give my mother’s hair type another try and will update you if I can get them to work with her hair type as well!

Great find for your hair to make it curly, wavy etc.
I have naturally curly hair but it's thinning. Use the on the top & it helps make your hair look fuller. Clip size is great. The quality, use of comfort, grip & hold all meets my standards!!

Not worth the price, don't work well.
I would give them one star, but I figure they do more than nothing so deserve two. Very light, cheap feeling plastic. As soon as I touched them I felt like I'd picked up something at the most "dollar store" of stores, yet these are closer to $20 than $1. I assume someone with fine hair couldn't use them. My hair is thick, but these have little "clasping" strength. I didn't return them in time, so I will try to use them sometimes, but they aren't great. They don't seem durable, don't hold well, and are over priced for those reasons.
