What is the measurement of the base?

It's 19" round. It's a large base so it holds and doesn't tip over.

Is the peg on top of the dome top detachable or removable? And if not will removing it compromise the integrity of it?

The peg is not removable. Removing the peg should not compromise the integrity however, that will make it easy for your unit to slide off.

Do you receive 2 stands as is said in description?

I only ordered 1 stand and that’s what I received

It's not very tall. I have a 10inch curly wig on it, and the back of the wig is touching the top of the jewelry box I have it on. I took pictures, but I can't add it in this reply. I reviewed this product before. I'll see if I can add the pictures to my previous review.
