Very satisfied
We got this pan to replace a Calphalon non-stick pan (the old pan was starting to shed bits of the non-stick coating into the food). We use this pan mostly for pancakes and scrambled eggs. We find we are using it more and more for other things as well. I like it that the sides are a little taller than the Calphalon pan's sides were.NON-STICK QUALITY:We always use a small amount of oil as instructed. The pan has been wonderfully non-stick. I have no complaints at all.COOKING:We cook on a glass-topped electric stove. I noticed that this pan conducts heat much easier than the standard nonstick pans did. It cooks fast. I had to turn down the heat (medium low), or eggs could be browned more than I want. There are no problems when I remember to keep the heat down. I think this is very good. I know I have heat available if I want it. We use only wood spatulas.CLEANUP:Cleanup is very good. The nonstick works well, so cleanup is easy! I use a no-scratch Scotch-Brite sponge and a small amount of liquid dish soap. (UPDATE: No rivets to scrub. I was thinking about the other ceramic pan I have. This one doesn't have rivets.). We never put it in the the dish washer.DURABILITY:We have had the pan about two months. I haven't seen any flaking, discoloration, or marring of the ceramic.HEALTH:We were looking specifically for the non-chemical nature of the ceramic. We are trying to keep plastic out of our diet.WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?Absolutely. I love this pan. I wish they made a large griddle.

I LOVE this pan!!
I'm not sure why others have such negative reviews but I love this pan! Bialetti is a very high quality brand made in Italy. I purchased one of their ceramic non stick fry pans over a year ago at a local store. It makes perfect omelets so I was sold on the non stick ceramic interiors. I replaced all my pans with non stick ceramic with the exception of my handed down cast iron skillet. That said, you DO have to be mindful of how high you turn the heat on them! Which is clearly stated in the use & care instructions. They get very hot very quickly & will start to turn yellow if you use too high of a heat setting. They'll also burn butter pretty quickly if not watched. I always use either olive oil or butter in them, so I can't say what they do if you cook without. Even with my old Teflon nonstick I used butter or olive oil so I never expected this to work differently. The advantage is you don't have to worry about the dangerous coating flaking off into your food. This pan I purchased specifically for grilled cheese sandwiches & pancakes & it works wonderfully for those purposes. The grilled cheese sandwiches come out super crispy & crunchy! Who doesn't love that!? I've never had a problem cleaning this pan either as it pretty much is cleaned up by simply wiping it with a paper towel! All in all I am thrilled with this pan. The only thing I wished was different is the color. Unlike a lot of people these days I am not on the red kitchen band wagon. I much prefer teal but it's not a deal breaker for me. The price was affordable for what I was looking for and it's a keeper in my book! 👍

My New Favorite Pan
I was very leary to spend $70.00 one one pan, but I have had so many that end up looking teribble with peeling finishes and the food still sticking to them, I thought I'd give this pretty one a try. The first thing I tried was the fried egg and it works exactly as the video shows; it is awesome for all egg cooking. Nothing has stuck to this pan yet, I even forgot about some rice cooking and had to scrap it off the bottom, but it didn't stick; a wooden spoon completely loosened it and left no mess to scrub. It has been that way with everything I cooked in it so far, things brown nicely on med-high heat and clean up with a dab of soap and a swish with the sponge. It is quite large with the handle and cover, and I haven't decided which old ones are getting tossed yet, so it's home has been right on the black stove top, and I have to say I like looking at it because it is so pretty and classy. I would have given it 5 stars but in 2 places, right on the little tiny lip of the pan, it is missing some of the ceramic glaze paint(the white finish), so I took off a star for that. I don't think it will chip because of that, but it is my only dissappointment.

Exactly what I wanted
This griddle is exactly what I wanted. The ceramic surface makes cooking and flipping pancakes, French Toast, toasted sandwiches, fried eggs, and many other types of food very simple and easy. Except for the fact that getting the spatula under the edge without the food sliding on the slick surface something of a challenge, which is not a bad problem to have. The griddle is heavy enough to not warp, so if I put an egg on it after it has heated up, it doesn't slide down to the side or corner. It also doesn't have hot spots - if I'm cooking four pieces of French Toast, for example, they all brown evenly. It cleans with warm soapy water and a dishcloth, and so far the white surface hasn't gotten discolored at all. I've been using it a great deal for the month or so since it arrived. I've read in reviews of this item and other cooking utensils with the ceramic surface that you shouldn't use cooking sprays, so I haven't. I do sometimes use a bit of butter when I cook eggs, because the edge of the egg gets almost transparent and crunchy, and the butter helps, but it certainly isn't needed to make the surface slippery.Because I loved this griddle, I've since bought a cookware set with the ceramic surface, and I've so far loved all of them.

Must Have!!!
Love! Love! Love! these red pots and pans - 10 piece set. Great quality and weight. Heat evenly and never burn. Someone mentioned that the handles were glued on, WRONG - They are firmly screwed on and the lids too. Have never had a set like these. I have owned Lagostina as well as Cuisinart and they don't compare... so easy to clean (just need a wipe with a soapy sponge) and they look great too!I'm sure this set will outlast me, however, if needed I will definitely buy Bialetti again.
