Good quality.
I only use this for my pet birds. One of my cockatiels lived to 28 yrs old. I had lovebirds and conures, most were picky eaters so they vitamins i out in their drinking water helped to keep them healthy.

I recommend this product 4 all Parrot's health
I have used this years 4 my birds when needed however I have 2 say, it likely should b a part of EVERY bird's diet even if u think they eat well. My wonderful Pionus is the first bird I had with "Bronzing" on her feathers, a condition usually caused by dietary deficiency where feathers appear black (where hers should b green and blue). After trying dietary management the vet said 2 try this via sprinkling on food (NOT in water). After following that advise it only took 2 months 4 me 2 see a remarkable difference. The only complaint I have is the scoop is 4 a giant water application and u do NOT want 2 use that. 4 best results put it on chop or food u KNOW your bird will get at. The small bottle comes with a more appropriate scoop which I think is more like 1/8t or a pinch. The pricing was one of the best including being able 2 buy at vets based on how much u get. I bought at $37 but I see it's up now $39. Still, more economical than the small bottle and consider u use about 1/8teaspoon a day. It asked 4 a rating on taste which I can't do. All I can say is my bird still eats her food so it must not b horribly changing the taste of her food. Anyway good brand, good researchers in Avian health & decent price on this particular product.

For Me, Better Than Pellets
You may disagree with me, but I do not like pellets. My birds do not like pellets. There really is no reason to even talk about it with me, so please don't. I don't eat processed food and neither do my birds. Also, I have had some of my lovebirds for 20 years, so I am doing something right. I have been using these vitamins for my pet birds for as long as I can remember. It mixes easily on their seeds and they don't seem to mind or notice it. It's a great way for them to get their vitamins without making them eat pellets they do not like. Of course we give them other things like fruits and veggies, but this goes on their staple food. All my birds get annual check ups and the vet is always impressed with their heath.

use it everyday for the past two years...and forever...
I was looking around for a multi-vitamins for our six beloved cockatiels and stumbled upon this one. Bought it and to my surprised, the bottle size is quite substantial, almost the size of a 500ml 16oz water bottle and comes with a tiny dosage spoon (5mg-10mg). I just mix one spoon of vitamins in each of the two drinking cups with fresh water everyday and it's just half empty after two years of daily use and the extended expiration date would allow to keep it up to 3-4 years from the mfr date. So far our birds are happy and healthy, don't know if they like the taste as I haven't tried it on myself yet :) but they just drink the water mixed with this vitamins everyday and none exhibit any kind of problem since we use it. In short, one bottle for six cockatiels that lasts for 3-4 years is very very affordable and well worth it to keep your beloved pets healthy. Not only it is inexpensive as compared to other products out there, but it'd also help improve the birds immunity system and thus their longevity as well. Considering that cockatiels can live as long as 20-25 years, that would come down to less than ten bottles for all my birds throughout their life span, way well worth it in my opinion. Besides, this is a well-known brand so get it, you won't be sorry...

Turns water yellow but my parrot still drinks it.
This product came quickly and i ordered it because it was suggested to me by my vet. I started using it in my parrots water. He still drinks the water which is good but i don't know how much i like the vitamins turning the water yellow. I don't think my opinion about the color of the water matters, its just a visual thing. It came with two scoops so it was confusing as to which one to use. I spilled a little in the sink and it was a hard to wash out. I don't have anything to report on how well it works since they are just vitamins. If its good for my parrot im happy but i may look into parrot food that already contains the equal of value to nutrition and vitamins.

Highest quality daily powdered vitamins for your bird's water
Simply the best. Back in the early 80s I met Dr. LaFeber - a renoun avian vet - when I lived in IL. In the mid 80s, by then living in Florida, bought a year old Umbrella Cockatoo which we have loved and had for over 30 years. He has had Avi-Era in his water every day of those many, healthy years. As an additional point, be sure your bird's diet includes more than just bird seed mix. Every day, depending what's in season our happy fellow enjoys one or more pieces of Bok Choy, brocholli, fresh corn on the cob, celery heart, small slices of cantaloupe, watermelon, papaya, and other safe fruits and vegetables. All LaFeber products are first rate and we also use their Avi-cakes.
