Very easy to use. No messy caulk coming out of the tube. We learned that the paper on the top side should be left on while putting it on the item you are caulking and gently press it to the item then peel the paper off. Make sure the item that gets placed on it is where you want it because once its down, ITS DOWN. It was easy to use once we learned the tricks. If the caulk isn't gently pressed down, when removing the paper, it will lift up the caulk from the bottom item and stretch out throwing off your uniform thickness.

Works good, but clean up and remove anything exposed. It will attract dirt which makes it look messy..

This tape worked well for replacing the roof on my camper. Nice and pliable and just sticky enough to aid in installation.

Used this to re-seal windows on a 20 year old school bus. Butyl tape is temperature sensitive, so it’s not as sticky in the cold (great for being able to rip the backing off), but in the heat, it gets softer and bonds right. Getting the old butyl tape off was quite a process, so it absolutely adheres. When sandwiched between window and frame, it seals watertight. With some added silicone caulk, we passed our leak test. The extra was used for sealing up the solar port on the roof, and the water and electrical inlets we put on the sides for the RV conversion. You really shouldn’t do a bus conversion without this stuff.
