As a jewelry resale business owner, I tend to find antique or vintage earrings that do not have sterling silver backings attached which leaves me to need to find a place to purchase them. For years now, there have been so many fakes out there It would make your head spin! I've purchased from eBay and Amazon and I'm very happy that these are in fact 925 sterling silver, not plated and not some other alloy! A good rule of thumb is to just stay away from listings that seem too good to be true for pricing, but that doesn't always guarantee what you're getting is actually sterling silver. I thought the price for the quantity was very reasonable and the little box that comes in is nice.So I highly recommend if looking for genuine sterling silver earring backings!
