It started off great
Well the day we put it together and went out side to test it out it was great. Than we took it out the next day. And that's when the issues started...didn't want to calibrate so we can fly it. And when we finally did get it up in the air..it decided to do its own little thing and FLY TOWARDS THE ROAD! Thanksfully it got stuck in a bush and didn't make it to the road where it was heavy traffic. ( My husband couldn't stop it from flying towards the road)... This drone definitely need to be fixed bc now I don't want to fly it if it's going to do its own thing and end up hurting someone!

Read the directions first and everything will be okay. This is a fun drone.
I just flew mine for the first time. Super super easy to fly. I just need more batteries. Just make sure that you follow the directions and the instruction manual and everything will be fine. It's not a grab-and-go out of the box put it on the ground and start flying. You have to make sure get the GPS is enabled, and it requires you to perform a couple tasks prior to flying. Just make sure you follow directions from the instruction manual I can't say that enough, this is probably some of these peoples issues that they have being not following the directions. This is my first drone, and I have never flown a drone before my life prior to this and I had zero issues. I highly recommend this drone for anyone who is interested. I did not have my camera on therefore I took my landing gear off for my maiden flight. I didn't think that it needed landing gear because of that, I just wanted to share that with anyone who's flying for the first time if you don't have your camera on you don't necessarily need to have your landing gear attached. I played around with the speed settings and wanted to feel how fast the response was in high mode and it was definitely noticeable compared to the slow mode but not uncontrollable at all. This is not a racing drone, instead it's a video drone for leisure in my opinion.

Not disappointed!
Pretty cool! For less than $200, it is a great deal. The battery life is pretty low, so I am ordering a few more batteries, but aside from that, great buy!Set up is easy......IF you read the booklet, and then watch the youtube video.

Excellent
If you have a 3rd grade reading level, you can set this up in about 3 minutes. However, if you do not read the manual carefully, this drone might just fly away and find a new owner. That is not a joke, this has happened. This is a feature rich drone for 176 dollars, Dual GPS, 20 minute flight time, handles very nicely. I would highly recommend this drone and I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Spend a little bit more and get something more reliable.
While I wanted to like this drone, the red flags started popping up upon further research into "Vivitar" which manufactures cameras. The first warning sign is when I looked for a spare battery for it, and was only able to find a hot swap on Wallyworld.com - (this clearly ended up being a Walmart brand drone). The initial setup is tedious, and there is no sure way to know that you did it right except for a bunch of lights that flash (which you cannot see in the direct sunlight). The first time I flew this drone I wasn't able to sync to my phone, but otherwise seemed to work ok, but in order to go the distance I wanted I needed to get it hooked up to my phone so I could see where I was going. Upon using the app, which seems like it was designed by a 3rd party, I was never able to utilize the remote anymore. Function was only usable through the virtual joysticks on the phone, which made the remote useless. When I finally got the drone into the air again, it immediately flew away. I thought it was a goner, but about a minute later it came back and I thought "oh good the emergency gps did its job". This was clearly not the case because the drone continued to just go in circles around me and would not respond to any command, including the emergency stop command. The drone seems very finicky and I won't trust it and put it in the air to risk losing it again. Returning it tomorrow. Camera seems like good quality as well, but the "fisheye" view leaves a lot to be desired, and when you take off the video shakes so much I cannot imagine it takes very good pictures. I took the time and calibrated everything properly so I'm fairly sure the way this drone functioned had nothing to do with user error, and just bad design by a company that doesn't make drones normally.
