I was so excited to get my headlight housing. Unfortunately, immediately into the process of dissembling it (so that I could install my LED lamp) I noticed one of the screws (J screw to be precise) that connects the housing ring cover to the rest of the housing just spun and spun. It appears that there was some kind of manufacturing defect that made it impossible to remove that screw. It literally took me about an hour to safely get it out. Everything else appears to be fine, but it's going to be a pain in the but figuring out how to repair this. It's so damn discouraging and was so excited to continue work on my motorcle. Now I have to deal with another obstacle.Not sure what I'm going to do. I waited too damn long to return this thing. So, I'm either going to have to re-tap that hole or weld on a new tab since the screw threads and hole threads have been obliterated.By the way I want to make clear that the housing came this way! I've demolished my fair share of threads to know you have to be very careful with these sort of things - so I'm pretty certain this was manufacturer error. Makes me pretty upset and motivated to give the seller a bad score. However, I have to admit that the rest of the housing is ok. I guess, this is what you get when you go cheap.I am not sure how many other purchasers have experienced my same kind of issues. I'd say get this if you are handy and have the patience to repair any defects that might pop up. If you aren't very handy, you might be taking a risk.

Would day this is a great housing. Seems a bit expensive, but most housings will be twice the price. The metal used is pretty strong, and to mold it to the forks on my 92 shadow vt1100c, I had to take visegrips to bend the metal around so it would sit flush. Would definitely recommend this if you don't mind a bit of work to get it on.

Great product, heavy gauge steel bucket and arrived on time. The only issue I had is the fact the legs are not a straight fit up, they needed to be finessed with a little creative bending to get them to sit flush and tight against my tubes. Other than being a half hour pain in my ass, the product looks good and is perfect fit for my 7 inch led.

Headlight assembly was great.the mounting brackets have alot to be desired. They don't have the right shape and to get them to fit at all they needed to be bent. Decided to purchase a different billet style mounting bracket instead.

Product was missing the retaining ring meant to hold the headlight in the housing. Resaler was supposed to send the missing parts but never did. Do not recommend.

This product DOES NOT fit a 2002 Shadow Sabre 1100. The clamps are too small for the fork tubes... Complete waste of time.

Pretty mediocre. Every piece had scratches, not really sure how that happens. The brackets are nowhere close to fitting, I have to buy others from another source.
