Timex Command Shock Digital CAT 54mm Watch

The Timex Command is a great watch, the display is great and well readable. The functions are great, featuring a combo alarm of Vibration and Audio alert, with flash. It also has a function where you can choose the alarm type as in weekdays, weekends or daily. it has 3 alarms. of different tones. The "Indiglo" light is awesome and lights up only the numbers and letters on display at the moment, giving it a cool heads up display look. The watch came in a clear display box. Positives : Display Daytime readability 3 Alarms , Vibration and Audio Combo or Just one. Each a different tone with the Display light flashing. Hourly Chime. The audio is loud on this watch. Choose day month format Set timer from SS:MM:HH , features repeat function "Hydration" feature alarm, single beep chime to remind you to drink water or whatever repetitive event on repeat with interval of your choice. intuitive menu structure, almost no need of instructions. Night mode feature, where for eight hours, any button press activates the light of the watch, then it self deactivates. This alarm is bound to wake you, along with the vibration. Strap is soft and comfortable , Improves on battery replacement likelihood over the Timex Expedition Grid shocks strap that obstructs a simple removal of the back plate. Negatives: Negative display needs more frequent light activation in some circumstances which may inturn increase the likelihood of more frequent battery changes, but battery life is yet to be determined, also more activation leads to more use of the button which may increase wear on those functions and therefore failure, but light durability is yet to be determined. I've read of some cases where the light fails but it could've been due to low battery life. the negative display gives it the appearance of a digital LCD phone display tho which is cool. The negative is display is well easy to read compared to gshock negative displays. The crystal is Acrylic which is more fingerprint and scratch prone. The shroud is resin or platic vs a metal on the Grid shock

I took a chance on this watch and ordered one. It arrived fairly fast, but as we all know, Amazon is not very fast with their deliveries anymore. The watch is very easy to set up and there's basically nothing to it. It's very easy to read and it lights up very nice in the dark. It is totally shock proof if you work with the watch on your wrist. The band fits perfectly for me as I have a large wrist, and it is very comfortable for a watch this size. I highly recommend this watch! I now on 3 of them, just different colors!

For many years I repaired machinery that was not very kind to my wrist watches. So I ordered a G-Shock and wore it for just over a decade. However, I was never very fond of the hockey puck strapped to my wrist look of the thing! But when I saw a picture of the Timex Command I had to have it! And I do not regret purchasing it. The watch is durable, comfortable, easy to read (I work outside and the direct sunlight always made the G-Shock difficult to read but this negative LCD shows up beautifully) and looks great on the wrist! I have an 8 inch wrist and any watch under 40 mm gets lost. But this one works incredibly well. Buy one or two...they are worth it!

Very good watch

I like this watch mostly because it is a large 54mm face & thich watch. Once I put it on my wrist on the outside of my sweatshirt: it stays there where I can see it. It thick so it does not creep under my sleeve if the sleeve is fairly snug. The night light is great with buttom easy to reach. Can switch between regular time and chronograph easily. So if I have been walking or jogging for an hour and want to know what time it is; I can switch to regular time and then switch back to the timer.

Glass easily scratched, not mineral glass.. but over all look of the watch is great..
