Timex Command Shock Digital CAT 54mm Watch

The Timex Command is a great watch, the display is great and well readable. The functions are great, featuring a combo alarm of Vibration and Audio alert, with flash. It also has a function where you can choose the alarm type as in weekdays, weekends or daily. it has 3 alarms. of different tones. The "Indiglo" light is awesome and lights up only the numbers and letters on display at the moment, giving it a cool heads up display look. The watch came in a clear display box.Positives : Display Daytime readability3 Alarms , Vibration and Audio Combo or Just one. Each a different tone with the Display light flashing.Hourly Chime. Strap is soft and comfortable , Improves on battery replacement likelihood over the Timex Expedition Grid shocks strap that obstructs a simple removal of the back plate.Negatives: Negative display needs more frequent light activation in some circumstances which may inturn increase the likelihood of more frequent battery changes, but battery life is yet to be determined, also more activation leads to more use of the button which may increase wear on those functions and therefore failure, but light durability is yet to be determined. I've read of some cases where the light fails but it could've been due to low battery life. the negative display gives it the appearance of a digital LCD phone display tho which is cool. The negative is display is well easy to read compared to gshock negative displays. The crystal is Acrylic which is more fingerprint and scratch prone. The shroud is resin or platic vs a metal on the Grid shock

I took a chance on this watch and ordered one. It arrived fairly fast, but as we all know, Amazon is not very fast with their deliveries anymore. The watch is very easy to set up and there's basically nothing to it. It's very easy to read and it lights up very nice in the dark. It is totally shock proof if you work with the watch on your wrist. The band fits perfectly for me as I have a large wrist, and it is very comfortable for a watch this size. I highly recommend this watch! I now on 3 of them, just different colors!

For many years I repaired machinery that was not very kind to my wrist watches. So I ordered a G-Shock and wore it for just over a decade. However, I was never very fond of the hockey puck strapped to my wrist look of the thing! But when I saw a picture of the Timex Command I had to have it! And I do not regret purchasing it. The watch is durable, comfortable, easy to read (I work outside and the direct sunlight always made the G-Shock difficult to read but this negative LCD shows up beautifully) and looks great on the wrist! I have an 8 inch wrist and any watch under 40 mm gets lost. But this one works incredibly well. Buy one or two...they are worth it!

Great watch!! Beautiful and large

First off I have always gone to Casio because of their inovative designs, quality and above all features. I saw a stranger in Walmart wearing this Timex and like me he too was strictly a Casio consumer. As we sat on the bench he really delighted I was taking notice of the Timex. I asked him what his genuine thoughts were about the Timex seeing how at one time Timex was a competing brand who wowed people back in the late 1970s with their indigo back light. At one time Timex was building good quality watches with neat features but over the years they degraded while Casio left them behind. The man allowed me to try it on and see the features in realtime. I was pleasently surprised how well the watch felt on my wrist, it was easy to read unlike previous inverted displays that Casio put out. The way it felt on my wrist and the style of the display was a selling point to me. Though I tend to buy solar products Casio sells plus feature like Baro, compass and alimeter I really was not put off by the Timex especially at it's pricing. So I took the plunge and purchased one yesturday which will be my first Timex going into 2024,my last purchase was 1991. If Timex puts more efforts into designing innovative watches I might come back. While I like Casio I was really let down when Casio for no reason went to an Led backlight and stopped manufacturing their trademark Illuminator blue light. I think I will truely be happy with this purchase.Update. I had to knock a point off. The Acylic screen is very prone to scratching so becareful using cloth types when wiping or drying off the screen.Update. Had to lower the rating. I love the watch but really am peaved about the Acrylic screen which makes it annoying to read the time with the scratches it gets when you wipe it off. For this price and being a shock resistance watch they should have used mineral glass. I'd expect this from a $20.00 watch but not a watch that sells for up to $120.00.

It`s first time for me to get Timex watch , i could say that is amazing watch and fit on my hand , great and unique look on hand ,very easy to read,. Extremely worth for money and i recommended for those people who would like to get a unique watch .
