It is beautiful and luxurious! I won’t lie, when I first removed it from the packaging it did have an odor; however, the smell dissipated within just a couple of hours of being out of the packaging and laid out on the floor. It is so very soft and feels so nice on my bare feet. My dogs and grandchildren love laying on it. it is easy to fluff with the brush that came with it. I shake it out weekly and it still looks brand new but to be honest I’ve only had it for a few months. I just love it!!

On my couches slightly bigger than the others so they sit perfectly look great. Everyone just sinks into my couches and say ahhhhh

We've been putting together a retreat room for for my husband and I. I originally started looking for a sheepskin as a romantic rug in front of the fireplace. I've spent many, many hours hunting for the highest quality, the biggest size and the best value. I was very leary after reading so many dissapointed buyer's reviews from other sellers. Problems listed were...too yellow, too smelly, poorly packaged, too small, pelts not matching in size, shape, thickness and color, the leather backing too dirty, too stiff and rough, etc.When I ordered these pelts I seriously thought it was one of the weirdest things I've ever purchased. Probably a big mistake. BUT NO! I NAILED IT! Look no further than these sheepskin!! They are undoubtedly the best of the best. Soooo soft and luxurious! Perfect on our recliners. Now that I've seen how special they are, I honestly wouldn't want them on the floor to be walked on. But they would be fantastic rugs in a special place like next to a bed or in front of a hearth.I ordered two and they both measure 84" x 30". They are vertically identical in every way....which was very important to me. Their lengths are less than the advertised 94" and the width a bit more than 27", but I'm totally ok with that. I was worried they would be too long and not wide enough for our recliners. They drape over the back of our recliners by at least a foot and they just touch the floor in front. The width is perfect for the seat! They are so inviting. I'm sitting on one right now!They were well packaged and sealed in individual plastic bags. Not a wiff of smell to them! They are definitely real sheepskin. The color is very white with slight hints of ivory. In certain lights, they have a faint golden cream. But overall, I would definitely label these as white. When I set them next to something white, they look white, not off-white. They are bright and clean. The leather backing is clean, very soft and pliable. I'm not worried at all about them being on top of our leather recliners. The extra softness and padding is absolutely fantastic to sit and lay on! The legnth of the fur is easily 4"- 5" inches with a nice thick undercoat. These sheepskins are the most surprisingly wonderful thing I've ever purchased!

So, over the past few months i have ordered a double pelt sheepskin rug, in different colors, brands, and prices. More than 10 different ones.Until finally, thys one arrived.I almost Never write reviews, but if you have been looking Everywhere for a real sheepskin rug, thats just perfect... thys is "the One".Let me tell you i have read so many great reviews for other ones i have ordered, and i get my hopes up and order it, only to have it arrive, and its like "okay, i must have gotten the only f***'ed up one, cuz i dont even think thys is a rug, let alone a real sheepskin rug"Honestly its a little pricey for my taste, but Totally worth it. Soooo fluffy, soft, and like that gross smell is super mild right when u open the bag, but then totally disapeers.*oh also*bonus* its really A Lot whiter than any other real ones i have ordered. Plus the brush that comes with it totally flufs it up and makes the hair softer and shinier.Dont even keep looking, or thinking about it. Buy it! You will Not regret it.(The pictures show the one on the left as thys product and the one on the right was the best of all the others until i got thys one. The second picture is after i brushed both, at their fluffiest. It also costs more than thys one and is a nice brand name one. But does not hold a flame to thys one)

Be prepared for a beautiful rug....but a horrific smell. Been hanging outside for a week.

My first review (with many pics) was never posted by Amazon, so I will try again to warn anyone sensitive to toxic smelling chemicals to beware. We ordered 2 of these and both smelled abominable. We gave it our best shot to air them out for a few days to give them a chance, nope, didn't work. Not only did they have a strongly chemical smell that rubbed off on our skin, but also putrid scent, total deal breaker!We live in the country, are surrounded by farm animals and having pet chickens ourselves are extremely familiar with animal poop and the smell. This is far worse.The one plus is the color was a nice even ivory/champagne, that is were the pluses end.Main problems: Item is shorter and narrower than pictured, see attached pics with measurements.Pelts are not matched well. One side had longer fur than the other, and fur was going in opposite directions making it very obviousStated measurements were not accurate in the least. Both measured 79-80" L and no more than 24" W at their widest. Fur was at most 2"L, which is nowhere near what many reviews stated. Softness was not there either on 3/4 of the pelt area.We had high hopes, and were it not for the rotten/chemical odor, we may have kept them, but that was an absolute deal breaker.Sadly, they will be returned and we will NOT be purchasing any other pelts online again.
