Naturtint | 5N Light Chestnut Brown | 5 X 165Ml

I wrote a review about how I did not get 5 boxes of colour as advertised here, only 1 box, but the review was not posted. What a scam!! Don't buy it, they will ship you 1 box instead of 5 and then ignore your inquiries as to what happened to the other 4 boxes. I still have not received the remaining 4 boxes.

For at least 20 years I've been using this product. I have ordered it at least 15 times from Amazon. So recently I just rapid-clicked to re-order. Turns out Naturtint has done away with the 3 accessory packets (#1-shampoo; #2-cream rinse; #3 leave-in conditioner) that were always included in the box. In addition to changing the outside of the box, they have replaced the 3 accessory packets with 1 tube of something called "Quinoa Multi-care Mask" -- which appears to be the equivalent of a cream rinse (i.e., leave it in for 3 minutes and then rinse). I haven't used it yet, but I'm really ticked off. I already have a cream rinse I like, but it's practically impossible to find a high-quality vegan leave-in conditioner and that was one of the main reasons I have stuck with this product for so long. (Well, that...plus it's vegan.)Even though I haven't yet used the contents of the "new" package, I am going to be open-minded and assume that the color portion, at least, will be the same; and for that I will give 4 stars because I've liked and used this product for decades. If I find that the color portion also has changed, I will update my review.

This product does not give me allergy.The best hair color I have ever used.

This is a wonderful product at a great price!

This is the first time I have tried this brand. On the positive side, it did not smell “chemically” nor did it irritate my skin at all. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair looking fabulous. The color totally covered my grey roots unlike most any other brand of hair color I have tried at home. The applicator also has a slightly smaller opening which allows for more precision application but it is also a little annoying toward the end when you want to squeeze out the last of the dye from the bottle.But, here’s my complaint. I purchased light chestnut and it turned out a very dark brown - with almost tones of black. And I had a light/medium brown hair color to start. See photo above comparing my color after application with the color photo on the box. I did leave the dye in for the 40 minutes for “more stubborn grey” and a “more intense color” according to the instructions, BUT this is not at all a light chestnut brown. So, I am stuck with 5 more applications of this since I purchased the 6 pack. I have been generally flexible on hair color during this Covid period so long as it’s in the brown family but this might be a bit too much for me going forward.It’s a dilemma as to whether I will try a lighter tone or not from this brand. I’ll see how long it lasts. In any event, I will not be purchasing a pack of 6 again. That was 🤦🏻‍♀️
