Works great!
This is our second one. First one was used at least twice every other day on multiple bottles and lasted about 12years. Base suction doesn't work all that well but we never use it anyway--it's not necessary to. Easy, fast, and dependable. And the built-in foil cutter works great too.

Easy & Fast Wine Opener! A Must Have!!!
Open a bottle of wine in seconds. No struggle! No broken corks! I love that the foil cutter is stored in the stand for easy access. I love this thing!!!

Useless
We purchased two of these. As other reviewers have noted, the corkscrew goes in. You press the side handles until a "click", small "buttons" pop out indicating the bottle is secure. Lifting the lever does NOT remove the cork. The corkscrew simply reverses and unscrews from the cork.We bought these for guests in our boutique hotels to open their in room wine bottles. Not one guest could get it to work. We had three of our bartenders try. No joy. We had an engineer friend try; no better luck. We emailed the seller and got nothing. Either we happened to get two defective units or this is a flawed design.

This is a great product!
We had been trying to replace a prior wine opener, and this one is great! Absolutely amazing. Looks wonderful and works like a charm. Would be great gift idea.

Awesome wine opener!
Absolutely love this product. Makes opening up a wine bottle so smooth and easy. We have bought several of them now for other folks in our lives. An awesome Christmas present!

Works but it's too big.
Easy to put together and it works. But yikes, what a monster. All black, 17" high, 5" wide; 8" deep. It is looming. It's too visible and takes too much space. Perfect if you have a wine cellar or a butler's pantry or a dedicated wine-opening room. We had received a Brookstone wine set in a gift that included a wonderful wine opener, on the same (lever) principle, But it's stainless steel and only 6" x7.5" x2" Wish I could find an identical wine set for our 2d home. I'm returning this one..

I had one for years (>10 yrs), it was still working but didn't look good (nickel color). I loved the all black model, works wonderfully
