Just great door knobs!
We recently purchased a home in a new state and aside from remodeling the entire house, those ugly brass knobs had to go, so we went with these since they came in a big 10 pack. We are not disappointed. They’re really nice, and they look fabulous on all of the doors. My husband is stalled all 10 in about 20 minutes, and had no problems at all. I like them. They’re not noisy like some of the reviews...I don’t even get that.....they’re great, they look great and installation was easy.

Don’t buy these, safety hazard
I am a contractor and I am building my own house and I would never buy this product again. They are built cheap. I already had to replace a couple door knobs but have to replace several more. I now anticipate I will have to change them all over time.If you twist the handle to enter a room and it happens to be locked the interior of the knob strips out with little force. These knobs can be a safety hazard if this happens because you can get trapped in the bedroom like my son did. Good thing there wasn’t an emergency. These knobs should not be sold on the market. Spend the money and go with a better product. It was my mistake for cheapening out. I am really disappointed because I like the look of the handles but now I must replace all bedroom knobs and exterior ones. I can’t get knobs to match my closets so I will have to change those too. Ugh!!

Decent hardware for the price
Decent hardware for the price—those who need to replace older doorknobs to freshen the home will like these. If you demand fine quality might be disappointed. The handles have some play so that they feel loose, although the mechanism does work smoothly and feels like it will hold up for years. For me, it was an upgrade to the original cheap hardware that came with the house—it’s all relative. If you’re looking for the best quality, I suggest you shop at (and support) your local hardware store. The door hardware was delivered in excellent condition with no problems. One thing was that the instructions directs you to switch the handle 180º to change from left to right or vice versa. However, the shaft on which the handle mounts is tapered, so it cannot be reversed on the same piece of hardware but must be re-mounted on the opposite handle. Otherwise, installation is simple. I mounted ten handles in about two hours. For my small pantry and linen closet, I simply removed the inside handle.

Not the best quality and mismatched sets. Have to pay to return their mistake.
I ordered two sets of 15 locks keyed alike. The first set arrived and all were keyed alike. The quality is not great. You have to hold the handles a certain way to lock them. Sometimes the are hard to unlock. The second set was mismatched. Some didn’t open with a key at all. I had to pay for the shipping myself for the seller’s mistake. I am out money because I bought from them. I will not buy from this seller again and could not recommend. If it wasn’t so much work I would return the other set I already installed.

Not great...
First, I've installed dozens and dozens of lever style door handles over the past decade and used most of the name brands like Kwikset/Schlage as well as the generic ones from Home Depot and Menards. For the most part, there is no difference between the generics and the Kwikset (usually about a $5 discount vs the Kwikset/Schlage ones). I found this set on Amazon and thought it would be a great option since its about a $10 discount vs the generic ones and a $15 discount from the KW/Schlage kits. The handles look great, the metal is solid and has a nice even finish. It feels sturdy in the hand and doesn't appear to look cheap. There is an odd hexagon in the center of the handle that doesn't look particularly appealing to me but its not overly noticeable. The screws are visible on the one side and the accompanying insert is more of a brass color so if you look closely it doesn't match very well with the satin nickel finish of the exterior. This may or may not bother you depending on how picky you are. These handles are about as easy to install as any handle. Shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes. They fit fine and tolerances are fairly reasonable. That said, once installed you find the biggest issue. The handles turn easy enough but there is simply not enough spring tension to return the handles back to the default position. IF you pull the lever down or up and just let go, the lever remains in that position. Not a great feature. You have to manually bring the lever back to the default position or it will remain where you last had it. This can cause the door not to latch successfully because the handle was turned partially and the latching mechanism remains depressed. At approximately $9 a handle you might be fine with this but in operation, it is definitely noticeable and not particularly enjoyable to use on your doors.Because of this I can't recommend them to anyone because first for foremost a door handle needs to work properly. I've installed 5 of these and they all have the same problem so I know it wasn't just one defective handle out of the bunch. If you're installing these in a rental or to flip a house where you're not going to actually use them and just want it to look nice then these will probably be fine but if you're going to use the handles yourself, go ahead and buy the generics at Home Depot/Lowes or Menards.

Nice... but
The first thing I saw when I opened the first box inside the first box (they come in two boxes of three each) was scratches. I know - they're brushed nickel, but these were random, squiggly scratches, and lots of tool marks. Keeping them since that won't matter in the places I'm putting them but just so ya know - they ain't pristine, Gladys. Otherwise, they seem to be fairly well made. That's it.

Great Buy
Needed new door handles for the bedrooms, bathrooms, and hallway closet. As all the bedroom doors, and the guest bath and hallway closet face the hallway, the brush nickel handles give a nice subtle uniformed look. Although it was the wrong type of handle for the hallway closet, I was lucky enough to find a very close match and am happy with my purchase. The installation was easy, no rocket science involved. This type of handle also make door opening much easier than the knob variety which was an added plus. Due to the way the door locks, and it's simple to open from the outside, I wouldn't recommend this type it you were looking for locks for security reasons. All in all, these handles got the job done, they look nice, easy to install, and are a great value.
