These are for small closures. The 72mm is equal to 2.82 inches or about 2-7/8 inches overall length. But note: the two screw holes are 1-1/2" and 2-1/2" from the base to the top clasp holes. This worked perfectly for my need, to hold a plastic tool chest closed (I used two). The appear well built but I would not consider these "heavy duty". The spring loading flicks the clasp open as soon as you lift the lever which is a nice improvement over older closures.The package is for eight of these closures but only needed two so now I have six extras on hand and need to hunt up more applications.

Nice clips, screws i ncluded.. They are light duty3/4" wide x 2 1/4" OA that's including the stationary clip.I was going to use 4 on a power amplifier 2U rack case.The case would have a front and back both removable with weight about 30lbs...I dont think clips would hold if it took a bounce on the stage...However some application light weight ...these are fine!

These latches work as advertised and they look fine. The only problem I had was that there is not a lot of room for play in installing them as this are not click-lock in position type, so it requires certain amount of tension for them to lock in place. So when you install them, you have to make sure it is really tight or it will not lock.

they are prob no wider than a dime. seems sturdy though.

Item was delivered early... however the size was too small and was not strong enough for what I needed...will be returning the item..

Very strong. Used for securing various caps and covers.

They're about what I expected. The spring loading is a great feature, and the fact that these came with their own screws means there's one less thing I have to worry about.
