Will these fit a 1960 P-38? I have a newer model.

These wood grips are more or less a drop-in fit on any Walther P-38/P-1 frame. The edges & screw hole aligned correctly on my P-1 right out-of-the-wrapper. But I had to "hand fit" the wood recess on the upper left corner of the slide release side grip to clear the slide release lever -- simple 1 minute wood thinning task with a Dremel mototool grinding bit, sand paper & a touch of boiled linseed oil for to restore the wood finish. The part description warns the buyer of this. The amount of wood thinning required may vary model-to-model, but in no way is a fault. And ... the grips look great and feel good in the hand.
