I had to research quickly and purchase a rib brace after a car accident last December left me with a broken floating rib. My chiropractor recommended I get a rib brace. It was agony until I got this. I couldn't get comfortable pre-brace and couldn't even stand up straight without pain. I would not have been able to function without this. For the first about 2 months I wore this 24/7 except for showering. I even had to wear it very loosely while I slept for the first about 2 months. It provided support to my broken rib and did help minimize my pain a little. Since then, I have been wearing my brace about 1/2 the day as needed while I'm still recovering. At first I wore this over my clothing, as I needed to wear it a lot tighter and needed to adjust often when I changed positions or ate to make sure I could breath comfortable. After about a month and a half I have switched to wearing it underneath my shirt as I can wear it a bit looser. After a little over 4 months of us, the velcro is still working great. I have been and still am extremely satisfied with this brace. Fully recommend this brace if you have a broken rib, or if you are buying for other reasons I'm sure it will still help your situation.

I purchased this for a Disabled Vietnam Veteran who suffered a couple of broken ribs. I've had broken ribs twice and they are quite an injury to address, as so little can be done. This wrap immediately helped my friend feel better. He's a big guy. We do not live in the same city, so I never saw it, but his review was A+! Thank you! I recently had a bad fall and injured my ribs. The doctors said I did not break it so I did not need surgery but they recommended this rib belt. I put it on and felt relief instantly. I love the bamboo material it makes me feel so much better.

I got this for my husband who had a broken rib 5 1/2 years ago. The constant pain since then has been tolerable for him but with recent weather changes, esp the cold or rain, the pain is much more pronounced. With this brace he feels fine, better than he ever has since his accident.The brace is soft, supportive, not bulky at all, and I can’t even tell he’s wearing it, except that he moves more comfortably. Even driving down bumpy streets used to be painful but not at all with this brace! He is so happy with this purchase, I only wish we had discovered this sooner.

I ordered this because I have a torn intercostal.... When I opened up the package I immediately noticed the strong odor..... And the it was made in China. The off gassing is awful. I hung it in front of a fan for an hour and it made my entire apartment stink. Now it's hanging on my balcony on the sun after spraying it down with a natural deodorant... I'm hoping the smell will dissipate because I can't wear it until it does and may have to return it. I bought it to give extra support when I work (as a massage therapist). I also was hoping for something a little more stretchy and thin... But if the smell goes away it will probably work ok.... But but great.

Solid rib brace for just going about your day. Over time, though (and not very much time - just a couple months for me), the hook-and-loop fastening will begin to curl at the edges and weaken, reducing the amount of activity you can engage in while wearing it without it slipping or just popping off. I wear it during jiu-jitsu to keep the muscles on and around my ribs in-place, and if it doesn’t slip out of place or peel off from the scramble, a good deep breath while standing might just pop it off.

When I first put it on it was really comfortable. Then I started moving. It rolled up from the bottom no matter how I adjusted it. I tried everything and it still rolled. I don't have that large of a stomach, but if you don't have a completely flat belly, it will roll. Not to mention after wearing it for 2 hours while working in the yard, the thing was soaking wet with sweat. And it smells pretty bad. Kind of like a whiff of pig farm. Not a good buy for everyone.

Bought this product and it just arrived today. I bought it along with the umbilical belt due to an injury I had gotten fighting in Afghanistan. I went through so many products and a friend recommended this to me. I don’t feel any discomfort or rash. And it doesn’t increase body heat at all. Would def recommend.

I bought this when I tore the cartilage between my ribs. It really made a difference and made moving around a lot less painful. Wearing it also made me more aware of my movements and limited me bending & stretching too much. I found the size just right, although it was quite uncomfortable under my breasts. I wouldn’t recommend to women who are busty because you’ll have to keep yanking them up and over the belt! It stayed on well with a big Velcro patch. I did find it got a bit sweaty, but to be fair the weather was very hot at the time I was using it.

Slipped on Christmas Eve and cracked a few ribs, needless to say the pain was rather excruciating and all I was an elastic bandage which didn't really help, ordered this support band and I can now move and breath so much better, it certainly was a life saver.

Fast delivery and has helped my broken rib immediately by providing the support it needs to start healing. Strong but comfortable and does the job. Comfortable enough also to wearOvernight which is when I have struggled with the pain the most. Definitely recommend. Ignore other comments regarding material crinkling up…..Yes it needs to be re-adjusted throughout the day on occasions but since wearing this I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my comfort. 👍

Seriously DONT waste your money. Literally it’s a piece of poo. In the space of 10 minutes it was rolling up. And it absolutely DOES NOTHING to help my ribs. It’s all lies. So angry that I wasted nearly £18 on this. It’s literally POUND SHOP QUALITY. an liesss

I am a little on the large side so I found it not wide enough , it was long enough by plenty to go round me but the width made it roll up so didn't do anything
