Boy is this handy & informative Very Smart Health Tool to have. Especially if you are on the OptOut list from Smart Meters! It helps you locate & measure any EMFs in & around house, property, neighborhood, electric car(!), office etc. Really glad we chose this one , as will accurately measure any EMFs including dirty electricity of improperly ir old wired homes, radio frequencies from Smart Meter, smart phone, smart appliances etc.To test: Turn on (will be in the emf read mode) & put up to utility meter level at the dark aperture slot. If it immediately starts beeping & flashes red (danger levels), then set it onto RF, will give you more particulars & a graph readout. Then can test up to 5 frequency ranges. Can save data & transfer to computer.Elster AB1 analog faceplate electro-mechanical meters are 'stealth' meters. According to Honeywell the "Elster the AB1 analog meter, can conveniently be initially or retroactively easily outfitted with communication capacity, 1 or 2 way." [=RF chips].

This unit is amazing There are several screens to see EMF, EM and RF. One screen shows all 3 at one. Another is a graph show the quantified amount of EM and EM. But what we found especially useful that was not clear to me when we purchased it is the screen that shows and can document the frequencies and thier dBms hitting your home. With triangulation you can locate the origin signals, UMTS towers included. It will track all your data, the only cavet is that a Microsoft operating system is needed to track data. We had experts come to check our home with the expensive spectrum analyzer. He was very taken with this unit. It is so useful!

Like - Can check and display ef, emf and rf at one go and easy to read. Not pricey like most other makes.Dislike - A bit flimsy to hold at bottom end. Some instructions are unclear - like how screenshots are taken and retrieved.Uses - check radiation on cellphones, wifi router, main meter, power points and home environment.

Easy to run and long battery life.I did not realize how much RF, and EF, we are exposed to.Its a nice little device to see how to avoid long term exposure, and what to avoid.My cell phone is not sitting next to my body anymore for any long term time, I could not believe how high the RF is when connected to WIFI or the tower..

The GQ EMF-390 is much smaller than I expected. I know the dimensions are listed but I didn't pay attention to that. It's only about the size of a large smart phone but thicker like an old school pocket radio. The battery is removable and is a standard 18650 like the ones large box type vape devices use. It comes with a USB cable for charging and computer communication. Also comes with a black draw string pouch for storing your meter and a credit card sized EMF, EF, RF radiation safety reference guide.Some folks say it isn't for beginners but I disagree. This device is self explanatory. You turn it on by holding the power button for 3 seconds. Point it at what you want to test and it displays a numeric reading. If you don't know what the numbers mean it also says normal, medium, high, or extreme. Also the higher the numbers go the faster it beeps. Idiot proof. One reviewer complained that it doesn't detect in 360 degrees. I felt that way at first but now I think front detection is better. This way you better pin point the source of your readings.Another reviewer stated he was not sure his meter was new because his meter arrived with a full charge and the time and date set. Well my meter also arrived fully charged and with correct date and time but it was in a sealed plastic bag and had a protective plastic shield on the screen, the type intended for shipping that you are supposed to remove before use. So I'm guessing they all come charged and set up, ready for action.The shipping was fast!! I received mine 2 days after placing my order with their standard free shipping!
