METZ Large Red Letter Box Post Box Mail Letterbox Drop tall PARCEL Box

I bought this in 2017 and it continues to work well. It doesn't leak. The colour hasn't faded. It's stable and can be moved for cleaning if not bolted to the wall or floor. I added some foam padding inside to catch delicate parcels and nothing has been broken by the drop form the opening. Postal staff and delivery workers seem to understand it easily, although occasionally a little parcel that would easily fit inside gets left on top in the rain. A handy addition is a small battery-powered light with a PIR motion sensor I stuck inside. It's a great alternative to a letter box and very useful if you get lots of parcels.

Good quality for cost. Wish it was a little bigger but gets used everyday for general parcel deliveries.

Son seul défaut : le dessus plat qui garde l'eau quand il pleut, sinon cette boite est tres bien conçue, assez élégante, solide et remplit pleinement son office ; attention : sa serrure n'est pas aux normes Poste Française, donc si c'est nécessaire, il faudra la changer... une dizaine d'euros chez le quincaillier, et une dizaine de minutes pour la permutation.
