Challenging but all of them are possible
The media could not be loaded. We purchased this book as a summer activity and my 13 year old son completed the most of them in the summer and the remaining few after the school started. The four star dinosaurs are definitely complicated and folds get very thick towards the end. But they are all doable.

All the dinosaur Origami but difficult to do!
This book has all the dinosaurs you could want, but these patterns are hard to do! I don't think I was successful at doing even one!! My nephew had one that was targeted at younger origami enthusiasts and I could do one with his, not this one, for sure. The instructions should be easier to follow.

My favorite origami book I own
I love this book! You can find some dinosaur origami directions on line, but in this book, the directions are more clear, and you can make many more types of dinosaurs. There are clear diagrams about how the piece should look before and after the fold, and the dinosaur outcomes look super. Plus there is a little informative paragraph about each dinosaur. The stegosaurus is my favorite thing to make as an alternative to a happy birthday card, and it looks great in any color. I only make it using large origami paper, because some of the folds are too intricate for the standard sized paper.

Sophisticated models, clear instructions + diagrams
I'm not an origami expert, but I've been really impressed with Mr. Montroll's diagrams. I've used other origami books (not written by him) where the instructions were ambiguous, and this always left me feeling very frustrated when I got stuck. The diagrams in this book are easy to understand and they follow a consistent notation. It's also nice that, for many of the models, Mr. Montroll has the reader fold pre-creases that help make later steps easier to complete. I haven't tried the 'four star' (the hardest) models yet, but I've folded several of the two and three star models and have had great success. (The book includes instructions for 25 models, only 3 or 4 are labeled as 'four star'.)I bought this book because I was looking to create some origami models for my dinosaur-loving two year old daughter. I've been very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to others.

Easy dinosaurs IF you are already versed at origami
Easy dinosaurs IF you are already versed at origami. If you're a beginner I believe even though it starts with easy pieces it will be difficult quickly. I wouldn't use this as a starter origami book is what I'm saying. That said, Since I've got a lot of origami books and have experience sorting out designs, I think these are fairly straight forward and made good dinosaurs.

Very good updated version of Prehistoric Origami
This book says it has 25 models on the front cover but it actually has 31. Most of the models are directly from the previously released Prehistoric Origami book. There are 9 new models in this book along with a few redesigned models. Only 2 models were left out of the previous book. The models are from extremely simple to very complex. As in all of Montroll's books, the models are very detailed and the instructions are very clear and well diagramed.

Fantastic paper dinosaurs
An excellent book with a great selection of origami dinosaurs. The book contains instructions for 27 dinosaurs and 3 pieces of scenery. You might be hard pressed to tell the T-rex from the Allosaurus or the Sphaerotholus, but there are differences. Most of the models are of medium challenge to fold, and you'll probably need some experience before they'll look the part. There's a quick intro explaining how to read diagrams to get you started, so a beginner could probably manage with some practice. The diagrams themselves are well presented and easy to follow (at least for an enthusiast with some experience). A lot of the models turned out nice using standard office paper (80 g/sq m), although the more advanced ones became too fat in the folds nearing the end of the instructions, needing thinner paper to get the layers in the right places. The more advanced models here will challenge even the advanced origami enthusiast. Excellent book if you want to go beyond flapping birds and paper cranes!

Ok but at least four are too difficult
This is quite a good book but four of the dinosaurs are very advanced and I couldn't do them. His dragons are much better.

Amazing.
What is there not to love about a book of oragami dinosaurs. It's brilliant and a great range of puzzles that vary in difficulty.

Good - but mostly only for serious oragmai folks
Great designs but look elsewhere if you are buying one of a younger oragami fan almost all of the designs are really complex.

gemischtes Spektrum
