This cable is great; has a nice braided texture, feels sturdy, the magnet is strong, and seems to do fast charging. It is a little easy to push the cable so it sits at a 90 degree angle so isn't plugged in, but still attracted by the magnet, but less annoying than using a normal cable (in my opinion). My one main annoyance is that it's short. Only 1m or so isn't really enough for this type of cable. One of it's selling points is that it's easy to yank out, but you don't really want it to yank out with every movement; there should be more slack to allow your phone or device to stay within range of the charging port without immediately disconnecting and having to search for the end of the cable, which isn't too bad because you can just move your phone port along the floor and it'll connect easily enough (because of the magnets). Still slightly annoying.Overall, I would recommend getting one of these, just maybe a longer cable. I also got a 2 metre set of 3 for only 1 or 2 more quid and that was almost perfect.

So this is the 6th one I've bought, not because they break (the first ones a year old, goes everywhere with me and is still working perfectly)They are "quick - charge current" carrying capable unlike a lot of the charge cables around this price and lower that claim to be but are not.The sheath actually doesnt fray at least not even in my tool bag with screws and tools rubbing it often.the connector to cable joint is also pretty robust, not that it needs to be as robust as it is as the magnetic connector will disconect well before enough strain is placed on the joint to damage it.The magnet is not the strongest I've seen in these connectors and when I place it at particularly extreme returns the cable can disconnect but this is rare, you certainly can't pick the phone up by the cable. but having tried different cables with different strengths this one seems to have found the right balance between too strong it might as well be a normal cable and so weak it hardly ever stays connected. Would definitely recommend buying a couple so you can leave say one in the car and one at home, otherwise you'll need to remove the tiny device connector and plug in a normal cable, with the risk of misplacing the connector.

The power connector on my phone is giving up, so I wanted to stop plugging stuff in and out, so bought this to save an expensive repair. Works really well, magnet is strong, and in the month I have had it no degradation other reviews have mentioned, works on my desk, car seat and the magnetic car mount i have, even going down my bumpy drive. Cable feels good, has a metallic braid appearance, and is supple. Two caveat's that you should know, 1 it's USB 2 so only 480Mbs, but that should not be a problem for most, and the second is it does not support any of the fast charging standards, so charge speed will be low, but it does not claim to anyway.Have now bought 3 and expect this to mean I won't have to replace my phone for some time so saved a fortune.

It's good, not as strong as it says you can't hold up your phone just by the cable it will come out. The micro usb doesn't fit in my phone that well, it doesn't allow the locking system to go in deep enough. It's find on my other devices so something to keep in mind. It charges my phone but isn't as secure.

I've had a similar magnetic charging cable before, but the electronics failed, so hence I purchased this new cable. The magnetic attraction is quite strong, so you only need to play your device within about 2cm of the cable and they'll attract together, which I thought was very good.The blue light is quite bright, so will put a noticeable blue light cast in a dark room.I have one concern that on the connection you push into your device, there is a slim bit of plastic between the two rows of contacts which I'm concerned could get knocked quite easily and break off (phone in your pocket/bag with other keys/coins), but so far it's been fine.I'd definitely buy this again.

I am pleased with my purchase and will probably buy another. I picked this up at a very good price and I am delighted with the quality of the lead and pleased that it came with two other connecters apart from my C type. The magnetic connection is very robust.

Good cable and magnetic coupling. The cable comes with three different Magnetic Tips i.e. USB-C, Micro USB and iPhone but no spare couplings available. So, if you were using say USB-C and it got damaged then the whole cable is useless. Also, you may want to use a single cable with two phones i.e. in a car, then that is also not possible unless you purchase two cables. In my case I will have to search for a cable that has spare magnetic tips.

Works well just make sure you pull the charger end or cable to the side or slowey to disconnect. If pulled straight and very quick the charger slot gets stuck in the cable.It's not a big issue becuse just simply plug it back in carefully. I bought this to protect the charging socket from my children. Works well in that department.
