Real Wood
The beds are an awesome addition to my kids room. I was a little nervous about buying beds on Amazon without being able to see them up close and personal in a store but I am very happy with this purchase. The beds are made from real wood not that pressed board garbage. They are very sturdy and the design leaves my kids plenty of extra room for their other furniture and toys. Once you lay out all of the pieces and get yourself organized they are fairly simple to assemble, however, a second person is needed for certain parts of the assembly. Another point to note is that during shipment one of the pieces for the headboard was damaged and it literally only took a few minutes to get in contact with support to have another part shipped to us. I assembled the bed with the broken part for now since it was not damaged in any way that would pose any safety risk, it just looks bad having a crack. Once the part arrives it will only take a few minutes to loosen a few screws and replace the broken part. All-in-all these beds are impressive and worth the price I paid at the time of purchase. Another side note, the beds are very large and extremely high unlike other bunk beds. Make sure to look at the height and make sure the room your putting them in has high enough ceilings to accommodate this bed in order to prevent a few bumps on the noggin.

Phenomenal!
It was super easy to put together. Things are labeled and instructions are super EASY to read and understand. I am a single mom, under 5ft tall and was able to put this together by myself. It did take me a couple of hours to do but after my kids were doing pull ups on the front rail before we put that mattress on. In which it was a success. Clearly it is sturdy. Nice wood and finish. The white is a little off colored but it’s not bad at all. Just not pure white. I loved it so much I bought a second one for my other son! I wish I would have seen this one before I ordered my daughters. I would have 3 of them. Contemplated trading my king bed in for one of these. Ahahah. 5 stars. A++++++. Buy it.

Solid bed for the price
Ok, so thoughts once assembled is that the bed is sturdy and looks good. If you assemble this bed using the included hex key it's going to take you a while. I found one I could fit I'm my cordless drill and it cut the time in half. There are a LOT of pieces so it works best to sort them before starting so you know where everything is. I wouldnt want to attempt this by myself as it helps to have someone hold the long sections up while the other person installs the hardware. The wood had some good sized dents and one very noticable corner gouge upon arrival. Overall I'm impressed with the quality if this bed for the price. My 10 year old is extremely excited about it.Pro's:-Sturdy-Good looking wood-Quality hardware-Perfect for 8' ceilings-easy to follow instructions-quick shippingCons:-Wood had scratches and dents upon arrival-Stickers all over everything and they are a PITA to get off the wood-Box was pretty well beat up and could have been packaged better

If you don't have a good back and good upper body strength
We bought two of these for our 4 and 6 year old boys. They share a room, and we needed something to help free up more space. I put the beds together by myself. I assembled each on its side, then lifted them upright. If you don't have a good back and good upper body strength, don't try this! Get a second person to help out. I used a drill with a hex bit instead of the included allen wrench. I kept the torque set to 2 pounds to avoid stripping the screw heads. I used the included allen wrench to hand tighten as needed. Much faster way to put furniture together. The first bed took me about 2 hours to put together. The 2nd bed took me about 1 hour. If you don't use power tools and are not very handy, allow more time. For the price, the quality is good. I like that it is basically an open frame below, allowing us to choose desks and furniture that fit our needs. We bought the following items to finish this out:5" foam mattress, super comfy, even for an adult! Lucid 5" Gel Memory Foam Dual-Layered Mattress, TwinBunkie Board. This bunkie board + the 5" mattress keeps the total thickness below 6", as required per the loft bed instructions. Signature Sleep Ultra Steel Bunkie Board, TwinWaterproof mattress protector...already battle tested two or three times. It kept the foam mattress dry. LUCID Premium Hypoallergenic 100% Waterproof Mattress Protector - 15 Year Warranty - Vinyl Free - TwinDesk to go underneath with a nice sized storage bin. Sauder Pogo Desk for Children, Soft White FinishDresser to go underneath with a big storage bin. Sauder Pogo 3-Drawer Chest, Soft White FinishThe desk and dresser fit perfectly underneath.

Two pieces drilled wrong so we cannot assemble.
I bought two of these beds for my girls' room. We had to take pieces out of both boxes to make one good bed. The one bed that is assembled is sturdy and I am happy with it. I will probably attach it to the wall for safety. I will start the replacement process for the second bed tomorrow. One thing I didn't see before I ordered is that the cross slates that hold up the mattress are spread farther apart. The In the warnings it reads "Use only coil spring mattresses on the upper bunk. Failure to do so will result in failure." We have memory foam mattresses. So now we will have the additional cost new mattresses, or ply wood under the mattress for more support.I think if you don't mind the possibility of having to work with the company on replacement parts, and you know ahead of time that you need a box spring mattress then its a decent bed. I am happy with the quality for the price I paid. Hopefully the company will be easy to work with to get replacement parts for the second one.
