Years ago my mom had one of those ceramic christmas trees. It had a base with a bulb. It was lost during a move. She found one this year at a yard sale that did not have a base with a bulb. This fits perfectly under it and works great with a low wattage bulb.

This is a versatile and nifty gizmo!
This is sweet! I put it into a spirit shrine to make it light up. Added a remote button to the electrical outlet and it makes it functional and beautiful! Good quality, great price and exactly what I wanted!

flimsy, lightweight, cheaply made, but it does work. for now.
More or less functions as advertised, but flimsy, and built from very cheap and lightweight materials. Contrary to what is stated in the description, the base would be very easy to tip over because it is so light weight. There isn't even a bottom, just a very thin no-skid membrane underneath. One of the four units I ordered arrived missing one of the screws that attaches the socket to the base.Needless to say, this is not a product that is UL listed or otherwise certified. Not a bad purchase, if you go in knowing that the quality level will be on the low end.
