The Shock Bottle Chamber Gauge is ideal for reloading and shooters who want to ensure better reliability of their ammo in chambering and extracting. The Chamber Gauge is machined from aircraft grade aluminum and hard anodized using S.A.M.M.I. spec's except for the bullet bore which is 0.4015" straight through. This Chamber Gauge is specifically designed to utilize a 100 round ammunition box as a "flip-tray", then can be flipped into an ammo box bullet down and ready for the range. This gauge is designed for shooters loading jacketed bullets over 1.20" OAL and/or lead and coated lead bullets up to .401" diameter. Check your firearm has sufficient barrel leade as excessively seated-out bullets will not be caught and can cause excessive pressure and out-of-battery ignition. Excellent time saver
I use this and the 9mm Shockbottle and value how much time I save gaging all my rounds. Anything that drops in these will run through any of my pistols. I drop them into 100 rnd MTM boxes if doing limited runs or into Tupperware if running large volume.
