XYZ Printing 0L-SJOI-S7LO 3D Printer Refil Filament PLA 600G (Clear Yellow)

Good colour. Not solid but looks translucent. Speedy delivery and service. Complete with a chip to insert into the cartridge.

The spool is actually 600g! and way smaller than standard 1kg spools. What a bummer. Not buying again

I’ve had three of these now and the first two were excellent making the review a bit awkward when it comes to the third. (It may just be a one off but two out of three isn’t too bad)As I said I’ve never had an issue with any aspect of printing until now. 1st sign of issues was the ideals started to turn out with bits missing or looking like it had been spun by a spider. 2nd the filament stopped feeding causing prints to fail. 3rd the Teflon feed tube started popping out of the connector due to the diameter of the filament increasing and not fitting in the tube. Finally the spoil count is now out of sync because I missed the tube coming off and it fed 12m into the air. I will try again when my replacement connectors arrive because mine are Now damaged And won’t hold the tube in.

I bought this replacement cartridge that comes with a chip. The chip identifies the type of plastic correctly as PLA, but when I go to print I get an error that the cartridge is unidentified. I created a ticket with xyz printing. After over a week of going back and forth doing stupid things for them. I sent them a copy of the invoice and they asked me to send the spool and chip back to them and then they will look at it and send me a replacement. They expect me to pay for the shipping for their faulty product and it will most likely be a couple of more weeks I am waiting for that by the time they receive mine. I am also having trouble printing any parts that require scaffolding. That option just makes everything print in an unusable quality. I have not even got that far to address with them. They make little effort to keep the customer satisfied.
