Rugged Ridge 12663.29 Half Door Insert

Worked better than I expected. My old '89 YJ was missing 4 of the 6 inserts. When these new inserts were installed I was surprised how much better the upper skins fit. This was the best deal around on this product.

Just what was needed. They did require a bit of dremel work to get them to slide into the sockets. I will use these for summer soft door tops and leave the nut inserts in the other set for wintertime hard door tops.

So I bought two of these because I thought it was a single one, Turns out each one is a pack of three so now I have six, which isn’t a bad thing, Other than that Great quality

These are a great replacement. I suspect the bad reviews are from people trying to hammer them down into place. Do not do that!! Push them in, and they will easily twist into place as long as they are lined up property. There is a small tab underneath the top edge/lip, and it MUST be facing the right way (long edge toward the inside of the vehicle) for them to go in. Do it correctly, and you will have no problems.

Probably the cheapest price for these products i could find. They work perfectly find and look great. You can tell they are slightly cheap quality. But, they are more than worth the price.

It says set of 2.. but each set included 3. So I was able to do both doors with 2 sets. I wouldnt have minded buying more by accident. These are great 👍

Shaking half door upper fixed

super easy install and I was very surprised by how much they tightened up my door uppers. Much less flapping and wind noise now.
