desertcart.com: Plus-Sized Elf Vol. 2: 9781626929708: Synecdoche: Books Review: A solid story! - What I think sets this book apart from your run-of-the-mill harem mangas is the fact that each one of the girls have their own world to worry about. Dark elf girl is a diligent worker, mermaid girl is an energetic fun-loving dedicated fish seller, ogre girl is both a fun-yet-alcoholic with a strong motherly side, etc. But what's good about it is that, unlike your regular harem story, none of the girls are head over heels in love with the male protagonist. The male protagonist himself does have his own personality, and life aside from the female cast. This makes the story feel a lot more convincing, as their reason to gather together is down-to-Earth, rather than an unhealthy obssession with another character. Ignoring certain long-eared girl's obssession with junk food, of course. It's fun, it's sexy fun, and can be helpful at times with the health tips. Review: Slice of life, fan service, informative, entertaining. - Differs from the usual slice of life and gives a story about struggles that not only real people balance with in their day to day but with the fish out of water characters from a whole different world gives it that extra bit to make it comical and interesting.

Still a surprisingly good book
For a concept this inheriently ecchi it manages to pull of good characters and comedy, while not being too over the top with those same lewd elements. It's no masterpiece no but this second volume does help flesh people out who we were only introduced to before, which is always nice Again know that this series is rather lewd and crude and every other variation of the word, but it's not disgusting or anything. And if you're here just for good chuckles than you'll be satisfied

Good 👍🏽
I like the art design and the story is cute. In most Manga the females are all slim and curvy, I like how this is a little more realistic on bodies being a bit plump.

A Second Serving
Plus Sized Elf volume 2 continues to be a fun fluff story. Some of the new girls introduced are a riot, especially the Kolbold girl. The art style continues to be well drawn with a few panels paying homage to classic anime series. And the fan service continues be at the level of the first volume. However all that being said the one thing the series fells like it lacks is an overarching story, though in this volume there was a few moments that may hint to something going on. Until then the series is a fun albeit aimless series, and you know what I am okay with that.

Light and entertaining
The story thickens with more outsiders coming in to make the protagonist life a true bell on earth. A good set in the story arc

It just keeps getting BETTER!
It seems there's NO END to the amount of cute girls that keep ending up in need of a good DIETITIAN! I'm wondering how he's going to handle a Satyress though!

This issue introduces what could be seen as the villain of the saga but the tone is still very comedic. There is still a good deal of eye candy.
