Spec-D Tuning Front Hood Mesh Grill Grille Compatible with 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla

This product arrived within 5 days of placing order on Amazon. The new Spec-D Grille arrived in a large, skinny, and rectangular box that had adequate bubble packing to protect the product during shipping. Was very easy to open the package and remove the product from all shipping and product wrapping. To install, required removing the three screws that were securing the original grille and then removing the factory Toyota grille. Fitting the Spec-D grille into the factory grille location required some effort and tweaking to get the right alignment and fit with the rest of the car and bumper so be prepared for not a perfect fit. Installed the grille using the same three screws from the original grille using the same factory screw-hole locations. After installation I was very pleased with the product and my purchase. The grille looked high-quality, aesthetically pleasing, matched the rest of the body and shape of the car in a very clean way, was not too “loud”, and was a very subtle but noticeable upgrade. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace the stock grille on their own 2005 Toyota Corolla XRS. Very reasonably priced for the quality of product with my only complaint (which is barely a “real” complaint and was and should be expected when working with the exterior body of cars) being that installation of the grille requires some slight bending and adjusting of the product to properly align and fit in the factory spot but besides that couldn’t be more happier with my purchase. Strong sturdy and fits amazing on my 05 Corolla. It feels cheap but it survived a deer going 55. Front end got messed up but the grill only got some road rash

-The grill refreshes the look off the car (Like). -Installation was fairly simple (Like). -The fit is not as good as I expected. The bottom center of the grill doesn't have a fastener like the OEM grill so It petrudes out slightly. (Dislike)

I bought this for my 2005 Toyota corolla LE and after i bought it came within like 2 days. which was very nice, but i couldn't find it any where. it ships usps, which most amazon packages ship ups. but i had to go get it from the post office. but then i got it and it took 1 second to un screw and remove the 3 screws form the old grill, and i installed it but the only problem was that the middle screw did not really line up, but i didn't care because the 2 side ones, and the pop ins at the bottom were holding it in. Now it is looking very mint. LET'S GOO

This product is garbage, don't even bother buying this garbage... plastic is super thin and cheap. Doesn't fit like they say.. you need to mod it to make it fit. Don't waste your money on this garbage. Probably will break in the first week. Screw holes don't even line up, after talking to them, they just gave me pointless info on trying to help me fit it but I work on cars so I knew it would fit if not modified. In the end, don't waste your money.

I was skeptical about getting another aftermarket grille because other one I bought was a dog turd. I saw the reviews and went for it. It fit perfectly, the cut out for the hood release was off a little as well as the center tab support, but honestly that does not bother me at all, little finagling fixed it just fine, grille slid right into place with minimal gap all the way around. Best purchase and my car is more unique.

Before I installed the mesh grill I compared it to the stock grill. They seemed to be same size and the holes should line up. The problem with the mesh grill was that the bottom clips that clip into the bumper where to thick for the slots. Basically the only way for the mesh grill to stay on my car was only by the top screws, which didnt line up well. The middle hole on top of the mesh grill does not match up but isnt a big deal. In my opinion the grill looks great from certain angles. From the side it looked horrible. The bottom part of the grill poked out and did not fit flush. After having it on the car for a month I decided to plasti-dip my stock grill matte black since it was faded.

Fits my 2008 Corolla well. The center mount does not match up the same, but I found it does not matter. Otherwise the fit was nice, and it has held up well since I purchased it a few months ago. A little bit of surface rust on the hardware holding in the mesh, but it is completely not noticeable as it is on the back of the grille. Overall good purchase.
