It is very sturdy and level, especially in a stall shower. I needed this to sit on while I wash the lower half of my body. I have not noticed any water stains on the wood so far. I do not squeegee it off after the shower I just shake it a bit before I get out.

Cute stool. However, it is wobbly as if one of the legs might be shorter than the other. We checked to make sure that it was assembled correctly and it is. I like it beside the tub for towels, etc., but I would not be comfortable sitting on it.

As a senior, I needed the added stability of being able to sit in the shower, but I was loathe to have an ugly plastic handicap tub bench in my bathroom.FUNCTION: This bench is very sturdy, doesn’t scratch the tub, and provides the perfect alternative to “handicap ugly.”APPEARANCE: When not in use, it sits beside the tub, holding my basket of towels. It looks classy and spa-like and works perfectly.ASSEMBLY: I’m a total klutz when it comes to putting things together, but I managed this with no serious backtracking (just make sure you match the letters). Screws matched perfectly with the holes, no stripped screw holes, no mis-angled pre-drills. Everything fit tight and sturdy.VALUE: Excellent value for the money. However, not all value is measured in money. The seller was a home business, so I mistakenly thought the bench was made in the US. Had I known it was made in China, I would not have bought it but would have paid much more to support US businesses.MAINTENANCE: I’ve read several negative comments about mold, etc on the wood or it coming apart after use. But no furniture-appropriate wood can be left in wet and damp conditions. Bamboo is water-resistant, not waterproof. It is porous…it will take on water and rot if you leave it perpetually wet. When I get out of the shower, I wipe the worst of the water off, then set it over a nearbyvent. Simple, easy, and works fantastic.RECOMMENDATIONS: To protect the shower and prevent scooting, the legs need to be rubber tipped. Just a half-inch rise from the bottom would be great.FREE GIFT: They included a suctioned wine glass holder. It was a complete dud. Wouldn’t stay suctioned to the tile even 2 minutes.

I highly recommend this product, very easy to put together, looks great. Price very reasonable.But I NEVER GOT MY FREE GIFT.

I had wanted one for so long, finally found one that was affordable and good quality!

This product arrived in less than 2 days from ordering, and the bench itself seems great. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble, is very sturdy and looks nice. The product is advertised to come with Non-Slip rubber pads, which is necessary for use in the shower. Instead, small foam stickers were sent, despite the legs having holes to nail the Non/Slip pads into. I bought this for my pregnant wife as it’s difficult for her to stand in the shower and she has almost slipped. While the product is nice, without the Non-Slip pads, the risk of slipping in the shower is still high. I would really appreciate some pads and nails being sent so I can actually use the product for the purpose I purchased it for.

All positives with this bench…exact size we needed, very easy assembly, quality construction, arrived quickly. Bench very sturdy. Would recommend this bench to anyone that wants a sturdy, small bench. We are using this bench outside the shower.

Solid little bench that we've placed at the end of our shower. We added a couple of extra coats of varathane just to hopefully prevent mould. So far so good.
