Brilliant! 👍
Have never used smart watches or fitness trackers before so nothing to compare it to, and no preconceived expectations.Delivery was 2 days quicker than had been estimated, so no complaints there 👍Initial look of the watch when opening the box was good, nice weight and feel to it 👍Eagerly opened the 'quick start guide' and that was the only negative. It really was just that, a quick start guide. How to connect to charger, how to switch on, and telling you to download Huawei Health app and get instructions for the watch from there 👎👍👎👍After sorting that, couldn't wait to get started. Corona-virus lockdown means only allowed out for 1 hours exercise each day so that was the trial.GPS connection and pairing to mobile handset really easy, as was setting for what I wanted recorded. Was only an 'outdoor walk' but off we went.VERY VERY impressed with usage and results. Full charts and breakdowns for heartbeat, distance covered, steps, energy used. Display/screen is very clear in sunlight. Default setting on delivery is set to AUTO but go into settings and you can manually change its brightness from 1 - 5. You get a lot of info scrolling through different screens on the watch, and can get greater detail and graphs on the app on your mobile.Very very impressed so far. 5⭐

High quality at reasonable cost, with super battery life. Finally found the smartwatch I wanted.
I only gave 4 stars to sleep tracking and the app because I don’t use them much so have tempered my assessment. I’ve had a few cheap step counters and an early Fitbit, all of which died and had limited battery life of 4 days or less. I only wanted basic functions, not really interested in GPS, the essential factor being long battery life and easy connection of the charger. Eventually, after much searching over several months, I spotted the Huawei GT at £89, less than half the RRP.So, I’ve had the watch over a month and have charged it twice, circa 12 days between charges using the excellent magneticlly attached charger that leaps into the correct position. I do not use GPS and rarely check heartbeat, etc. I really like the analogue style display. I’m not a fan of silicone straps and swapped immediately to a black metal strap from an old watch. Connection to iOS app was easy to set up and operation is flawless for my usage.

Good watch - just keep it synced
It's a decent fitness watch, and i bought it mostly for its screen and for its battery life. Battery life is excellent - i've had it since Christmas Eve 2018 and i've charged it 4 times. It's not a smart watch, just a fitness watch. It's good looking and works well as a watch. I don't use it all the time, as i also like to wear a normal watch sometimes (worth bearing in mind for my battery life/charging habit).Good:-exceptional battery life-clear screen-there's enough watch faces..i don't know why people moan-quick to lock on GPS-measures distance and heart rate well-comfortable strap-it takes a bash quite well. i think it has taken the paint of a couple of my door frames.-really good analysis of exercisebad:-gets out of sync with sea level. i don't know how the altimeter works, but it seems to need to sync with your phone to work properly. really quite annoying-i don't sync with my phone all the time, i prefer to have the battery life on my phone too, and don't have bluetooth and gps running all the time-the sleep analysis i sort of gave up on. it's a bit wishy washy, and seems to think as soon as i lie down that i'm asleep. i think sometimes when you analyse your sleep, you can make yourself feel more tired than you actually are. if you wake up thinking you had a nice sleep, then look at the stats to see that the GT thinks it was rubbish...there's psychological affects.

Great watch for the price tag
Really good buy, this. I was sceptic with this Huawei GT watch not being supported by Android Wear but all in all it's a decent piece of wearable tech for the price you're paying. Life battery is great, 7 days with all notifications on, checking the time 100 times a day, heart rate on the whole time, pedometer & sleep tracking. The watchface gallery is not extensive but has at least 7-8 faces that I use for different times of day/week.Mine came with a silicone strap, which feels comfortable on the wrist, but went and purchased a brown leather strap and this way I have a sport and an elegant watch to wear 😉.The charger is easy to use as it's magnetic and just 'sticks' together and the charging is fast.Very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Why buy any other watch!
Great watch, highly recommended. Of all the watches I have used this one is head and shoulders above the rest. Battery life is very good, not two weeks but getting on for a week. The monitoring of events is particularly good, for example when playing badminton I can see heart rate warning bands really clearly with just a flick of the wrist, which this watch picks up well. Also on a walk I can see that I need to put in a bit of a jog now and then to do my burn out minutes in the day. Initially not obvious how to use as the info is non existent with it, but bear with it and you will be very satisfied. Am tempted to buy another as a spare it is that good. You can download extra faces but the supplied ones are really useful. Step count is spot on. Data at end of a walk is really informative, keeping track of pace, altitude, cadence, various speeds, gives you a Km pace every Km as you walk. Brilliant. Such good value.Six years (yes!) still going strong. Heart rate is a bit out but otherwise works as per day 1.
