Works good. A little Tall
It is a bit higher profile slider but if you are able to twist knocks it shouldn’t be a problem. This is much better quality plastic than the previous two I had.

Great replacement for a lost or worn out original
My kid lost his when adjusting the bow, and this replacement works great.

Cable Guard Rod Slide
Fits 3/8" rod and glides nicely and I think the black looks better compared to the red.I have an older 90's Black Bear Mag compound bow with the steel wrapped cables. I built a cable guard rod from 5/16" steel rod (big box store for about $4) and then slid about 6" of 3/8 OD 5/16 ID chrome metal tube onto it that I found in the plumbing section and it was bent up a little bit so I got a discount ($2). I bent the rod to make an offset and put some black electric tape on most of the chrome tube except about 2" where the slide would go. I also threaded 5/16-24 with my die (found on eBay for $3) and added a 5/16-24 nut ($1) to lock the rod in place. This definitely and greatly reduced the twang noise from when the cables hit each other.

Fine but Overpriced
Slips right on, installs in two seconds.I believe these are way overpriced though.Should be half the price for this small plastic item.
