Giani Brick Transformations Whitewash Paint for Brick and Fireplaces- 16 oz Pint

What a transformation! This is very simple to use and video instruction is easy to find online. I used the 2:1 solution because I needed fuller coverage, due to heavy staining on old stone. It’s best to do a little at time, (I did one brick at a time) A little goes a long way. The coverage is great, but you can manipulate it easily with dabbing and rubbing. Very good quality paint and doesn’t smell at all.

Worked great! I read some reviews, bought the can by itself and used an old Tupperware and paint brush I had at home. I did the 1:1 ratio and I did not wipe, just brushed it on. It was easy but took forever getting the grout between the bricks. I also pulled out the old logs, spray painted the inside black and put some aqua fireplace glass in there. Just have to stain the mantle to match the cabinets and I will have saved myself a good amount of money!

I am very pleased with this product. It effectively whitewashed our outdated pink brick fireplace, resulting in a more modern farmhouse aesthetic. The application process was simple and straightforward. I highly recommend it.

This was a great product. Would have given 5 stars but was disappointed it didn’t come with the brush and sponge it claims to give you in the directions on the can. Paid $20 which isn’t horrible. I knew painting brick was a “no going back” decision so I wanted to do it right. My fireplace is LARGE. But I didn’t want a full white coverage. I watered this down a lot. After about 3 hours of work and only 2/3rds of the paint used I finished! So happy with the results!

This paint was amazing. Was skeptical at first to paint my brick but came out beautiful. Nice coverage and only took one coat. Coveted red brick and still have so much paint left in the can.

This stuff works well and you only need a little bit! I did a 2-1 ration (1/2 can paint, 4oz water). I chose to not wipe it off because I liked the look and didn’t want to do 2 coats if I didn’t have to (I only had to do ONE 😁). I was worried it would be messy, but it really wasn’t. I used tape to seal my edges and just went at it. The one bit of paint I did get on my floor came right up with goo-gone. It took about an hour to paint. Painting the mantel took several more coats and much longer (but I was painting that outside in the cold like a dummy). Being 5 months pregnant and only marginally handy, I’d say it’s fool proof!

For a small can this covers a lot of surface area. Dries fast and does not take all day to complete the job

Ravie par ce produit. J'ai utilisé 2 doses de peinture pour une dose d'eau car je voulais une couvrance totale. J'ai fait 3 couches et il me reste de la peinture. Le résultat est à la hauteur de mes attentes. Très facile à appliquer, je recommande.
