Lower quality, but at half the price.
1. As the flow of Chinese products has come to a halt at present, I had no option but to try out this substitute made by a local entrepreneur. My requirement was for a replacement filter set (FZ-F40SFE) for my Sharp Air Purifier, Model No. FP-F40E-W. 2. On opening the package that was delivered today (5th May '21) my first observation was that the quality of the product was "cheap". The HEPA filter's height is 1 cm less and its material is of inferior quality. The pre-filter's height is OK, but the quality is suspect. Finally, when I started the Purifier after somehow fitting the new filter set, it started emitting some foul chemical smell. I hope it will go away soon. 3. Any plus points in this purchase? Firstly, something is better than nothing; at least my machine is in use once again. Secondly, the price of this filter set is about half of what the original set would have cost.

The filter sheet is missing. The return was picked up and amazingly no refund was provided, even though I asked for only the filter sheet to be sent. So be careful about proof of return
