Exceeded my expectations!
2/3/21 Update: Now it has been a year since I have had this. It is still working great! I love it!My last battery-operated alarm clock didn't ring loud or long enough, so I overslept one important day. This Reacher alarm is great, although I've only used it one night thus far, but it's so great that I have to review it.What makes it so great?1. It's quiet, no tick-tock clock sound.2. It rings really loud, and I have to turn it off to make it stop. Yay!!3. It comes with simple instructions and it's easy to set the time and the alarm.4. A button allows you to tap it for the display. If you don't want to run down your battery, tap it and you won't see the time. (At home I also use an electric clock, which lets me see the time. I have this battery-operated alarm as a backup for when the electricity goes out.) When the time is displayed, you can push the button, which will display a backlight, so you can see the time at night. The backlight stays on for a few seconds for you to see the time when the room is dark, and then the light goes out so you can sleep in darkness.Below is information on the good and the bad, but it's not really bad.1. The clock comes with a card that says it offers 24-hours free user support. However, it does not provide a phone number for where you can get that support. The card also says you can email them (email is provided) to get help with any issues. I'm all about customer support after a sale. If you go to Reachershop.com, you'll also see the same email listed on the card, along with the phone number, but the phone number is a China number. The company is based in China. The card they provide is written in broken English, and it's clear they need to hire someone like me to rewrite the card so it is well-written. But it's also clear by what's written on the card that this company wants to make you a happy customer and will do what it can to do that, including offering a "No-Need-Return warranty policy."

Cute clock, works, but waste of money.
I bought this clock as a way to get my 5 year old daughter up to independently go potty during the middle of the night and to wake up for school.This clock is cheap and does what it's supposed to, meaning the alarm goes off. The alarm starts out beeping 3-5x once every second, then transitions to 2 beeps for the same amount of time, then transitions into what sounds like a metal detector when it finds metal. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP... It's loud enough that I can hear it in my bedroom on the other side of the house if my fan isn't on, so I know she can hear it when it's 10 feet away from her.From start to finish, the alarm lasts about 15-20 seconds. If you've guessed it, the alarm shuts off by itself. This is frustrating because my daughter has figured out that she doesn't need to physically turn the alarm off; she will just lay in bed until it shuts off and goes back to sleep without getting her half asleep self out of bed to use the potty. But if you want to turn it off yourself, you have to press and hold either the "H" or "W" until it turns off. If my daughter actually gets up to turn off the alarm, she forgets this and keeps pressing on the button.You can't see the time at night unless you press the snooze button in the middle, and that light only lasts a few seconds. If I need to reset the alarm (in the dark), I have to constantly press the snooze button to see what's on the screen.Bottom line, waste of money for us and will return for an alarm clock that doesn't turn itself off.*****Update 7/13/21*****A representative from the ReacherDirect customer service department reached out to me and offered to send me a completely different clock 100% free of charge. The representative was super friendly and helpful and that clock arrived within a couple of days. This new clock https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TM8MQ9G works very well! It has 2 different alarms, 1 for the week and 1 for the weekend. The alarm sounds are wonderful too. My 5 year old even likes to fall asleep to one of the sounds. Bottom line, this is a great company to order from. They truly care about customer satisfaction and will rectify a situation of poor customer satisfaction. I switched my initial rating of 3 stars to now 5 stars to reflect my overall customer satisfaction.

Simpliest Ever to Use
This clock has great features. It's super easy and intuitive to to set/change the time or alarm. There's a snooze/Light bar that extends over most of the top of the clock. So, I put it on my night stand where I can reach it with a flat hand in the dark and the display lights turns on for about five seconds to show the time. It's also small enough to be a travel alarm, with a display off button that saves battery power. My only complaint is that it comes in only one color. It's a nice color for my bedroom, but I'd also like to order one for my office in black or dark brown.

Great little clock
The only complaint I have about this clock is I wish the light stayed on after pressing the button instead of turning off after a set period of time. That said I got this clock specifically because it doesnt have a light on all the time so you can sleep without one bothering you. Over all this is a really nice clock.

Clock doesn’t show the time
Do not purchase this product as you can’t read the time!Update- excellent customer service! They would send me a free replacement but they are out of stock and therefore refunded me. Would use this seller again for sure!

It didn’t work from the start. Tried to reach the manufacturer to re-send the product. But they couldn’t because it was not a direct sales from Amazon but via a subsidiary seller. Couldn’t trace the actual seller either.
