The book came inside a three layered packaging, and not a single page was damaged or harmed in any way. For Penguin, i always have loved and do love penguin’s publications, I prefer it over most of the publications out there in the market. I am absolutely amazed how they managed to make a book that contains 1400 pages with this quality of pages and prices within this affordable price range. Absolutely love it!

I liked the book.
Paper is good quality. I finished the book, and loved the story of L. Tolstoy. He explained the war sequence, reasons, his view about napoleon are splendid. Translation is acceptable. I felt almyer maude translation is short compared to briggs. Otherwise briggs also good.Text are small, but readable.

This is one of the best investments in books that i have ever made, if not THE best one.
