I bought this watch because I was going travelling a lot in the next few years and I wanted a watch that is durable as well as having several useful functions. It is waterproof - but I've only used it in the shower/bath/washing up, nothing more as of yet. The light works well in the dark, the alarm, timer and chronograph functions are all accurate and you can't miss the alarm going off! It even looks stylish! This watch is amazing and the face is much smaller than I thought it would be. I absolutely love this watch and would totally recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Apart from the fact cooking in my student accommodation has now become an precise art due to the timer function, this watch is great, nice colour too.

Has all the essential functions with none of the extra frills complicating it. Comfortable to wear and lightweight. Can't fault it, would highly recommend as a basic sports watch.

I brought this watch as the original one of the same kind of make went into a blank screen and where I thought it was just in need of a battery, in fact the whole watch was draining the new batteries that the shop were putting in. I like this watch a lot better than the last one I had as it is more dainty and elegant in keeping with the style that I prefer. I would recommend this to anyone who prefers a water resistant yet elegant digital style of watch. I am very happy with this watch indeed.

This is a great watch. It's an attractive design, the shape of the strap means it sits attractively on my wrist, it's been reliably waterproof and the settings are perfect for my swim train sessions. Just a couple of things left it short of 5 stars. Firstly the date is in american format so the month precedes the date. Secondly, I would have preferred if the design was just a tiny bit smaller, which would have made for a more feminine touch, but those were more personal details.

Came on time, looks fab and was well packaged. I don't ever take it off and it's working fine, no fogging when in a hot shower! Edit: After a couple of YEARS of use non-stop, the strap broke and I can't find a replacement strap, but I will be buying another one as it was just so good.

I'm quite petite and wanted a watch that didn't swamp my arm- this does the job nicely. It's easy to programme and the indiglo is a nice touch. EDIT- I've had this watch for over seven years now and it's still going strong. I'm just replacing the strap for the second time (ring Timex for replacement straps) and the battery has been replaced once. If it does ever break, I would definitely buy another one.

If you want a digital watch with basic features (water resistance, stop watch, back light, etc) then this watch is good and cheap, but don't expect durability. The watch itself is not bulky or heavy like other sports watches. It's very comfortable, it doesn't look very childish (too colorful or cheap) and looks stylish even in a professional setting. Since I've bought it in 2012 the battery still hasn't run out yet. The problem is the build quality isn't that good. The screen got scratched easily, the small plastic buckle that holds the strap broke after one year of use and the strap itself broke after 2 years of use. If you don't want to invest in an expensive digital sports watch and don't mind it breaking after a year or two then this watch is good.

For anyone who's looking for digital watch that's inexpensive but still offers timers and countdowns, this is a great option. It's also nice and light, a good size and doesn't feel heavy when wearing it. A great option for both adults and children, so parents who are looking for an affordable but stylish and practical watch for their child might want to consider this. I have only positive feedback for it so far.

I have owned this watch in red for several years; I only replaced it because the band was looking pretty tired. The orange band on this one was a little more fluorescent and translucent than I expected, but I'm keeping it because it's fun, and I primarily use it with activewear, anyway. As far as the features go, this is a great little watch. Easy to figure out which button does what, and almost impossible to accidentally push a button and change something. For the casual runner/walker, it's easy to use the chronometer and take splits.

My kids would like this watch for sure..

This is my 5th ironman watch and this time I bought 2 of them, the red one for my days off, and another black one for work. I find the ironman watches to be attractive, lightweight, comfortable, durable, affordable, functional and very easy to set since they will go through many daylight savings months. I am a woman in my 50s, and I most like that the time, day and date is so easy to read and the indiglo light makes them useful even at night. (Although, I do prefer the older indiglo light model that this watch has where the entire watch face lights up over the new style that lights up just the numbers because the newer type is a little more difficult to read). This watch is so cute and fun. But it would not be serious enough for my professional work place or go with the darker clothes I wear to work. I bought my original ironman watch many years ago due to its time and date readability, and have continued with them for that and the other reasons listed. They last for many years, and I buy new ones when the watch band begins to crack on the underside. Otherwise, they have not broken, or worn much on the outside of the watch. I highly recommend the brand, and will continue to purchase these.
