I ordered this trash can about a year ago (it was only $20.44 +shipping then), and it is holding up great. There is no weather damage at all, and it looks brand new. The lid is probably my favorite part because the handles flip up and down to hold it in place; this is great because there are raccoons around here, and they can't get in. The wheels are still working perfectly, as well. All in all, I love this trash can. It holds two 13-gallon kitchen trash bags with room for smaller bags (from bathroom, for instance), and I am glad that I bought it.UPDATE: March 21, 2019. I was flipping through some of my reviews and saw that this one is prominently featured on the product page. I paid twenty bucks for it, and it's great for that price, maybe even worth forty or so. It is good at that price point, even great. But I cannot recommend it for twice--let alone five--times that amount. Not even close.

This trashcan is made of a durable plastic material that is not desirable to vermin. With locking lids, creatures cannot feast on trash. My condo has had one of these cans for over 20 years and it’s still on the job. While our other cans are newer, it’s expected they will be just as durable. The only downside to this item is that I have never been able to find lid replacements when the wind carried it off while not locked or when runover by a car. Highly, highly recommended item. I hope they are made forever. Though not the cheapest trashcan available, they are worth it in areas in which vermin are common.

Trash pickup in my area is twice a week. I have approx. 1 bag per day or two. This trash can only hold about 2 bags. Also, the wheels seem a bit small so when rolling on concete thats not overly smooth, you can run into some issues.As a trash can, its good. The handles seem sturdy and it firmly locks in when moving. The biggest complaint though is the size. I would say get the largest one you can get the meets the regulations of your district.

Arrived earlier than I expected, which was great and packed well. It has a locking lid which is a blessing and a curse. It's great that on windy days, the lid won't roll down the street, but it's bad since the guy that collects the trash passed me by once when it was on the locked position. Oh well. All in all, I like it. I wish I had gotten a can with four rollers on the bottom since I invariably grab it on the wrong side and start dragging it to the curb rather than rolling it, but that's my only "wish list" part for this item. I anticipate that this sturdy container will last several years.

Though many people had previously rated this as an undesirable products (typically 1 out 5 stars) due to its flimsiness - tendency to break, due to exposure to outside conditions and readily damaged by garbagemen, I chose to buy it since we only use it to hold 42-gallon trash bags primarily during the fall when we rake and mulch leaves. I.e., it resides in our garage and is only taken out to fill trash bags with leaves, yard trash, etc. Guess what? Though it was delivered very promptly and in a large corrugated cardboard box, it was shipped with the lid in the bottom of the box and was found to be nearly split in half. The supplier, no questions asked, very quickly delivered a new can with intact lid within one week! I was very pleased!

This trash can is simply not sturdy enough to withstand the typical urban or suburban handling for longer than about six months. Ours developed holes in the bottom within six months and the lid is finally so broken that it won't shut (and good luck finding a replacement lid that fits the newer model). The material is too thin and brittle for anything close to medium duty.

These trash cans meet city requirements and rolls well down my long driveway. I like the two handled version as the lid stays on very tight. Unfortunately, this model trash can is very difficult to find, so I was glad to find it on Amazon.com

I really dislike all those huge trash cans, and especially ones that don't have wheels. I have used this model as long as I can remember. I finally had to trash my former can because it was 20 years old and finally had used up its useful life! =) This can holds 33 gallon bags and is so easy to roll out to the curb for the trash pickup. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, you can't find it everywhere anymore. I tried several places and finally Ace Hardware was happy to order it for me.

It's Rubbermaid - What can I say!! - Great to be able to have it delivered to your door rather than having to lug it home!!

The wheels don't turn all that easily. The lid snaps closed, with the handles making it basically impossible for an animal to get in.I've had this garbage can for a few months now, and the bar holding the wheels in-place has started to rust.All-in-all, I'm mostly happy with this purchase, and consider it to be a very decent value for the price.
