Fresh Purple Sweet Potatoes-2LBS

They came a few days early and were perfect. None were bad or rotten, and they were as described. I baked all of them and turned them into a halaya, that lasts for up to two months frozen! They were fresh and delicious, and I have already incorporated them into many recipes. Will definitely be purchasing again.

Awful

These arrived fresh and I baked them right after unboxing. They're ambrosial. The flesh is a dark, rich purple. It looks almost unnatural it's so beautiful. The taste is mildly sweet, with a subtle flavor palate. The texture is quite starchy, but if I'd baked them longer I envision them having been softer and squashier in their comportment. I highly recommend giving these a shot. I wanted a reminder of Hawaii, and I got it. Just ordered again.

Some of the potatoes was not good quality. It was old, so I steamed it to show the difference of good to rotten. The size was small and not the best choice. It's ok. But not great. Not worth the price of $17 for 2lbs. The seller should inspect the product prior to shipment and make sure the potatoes are in good condition. This is not appropriate packaging for consumable products as it doesn't protect the integrity of the food. I threw out the spoiled potatoes. I'll most likely won't purchase this again.

Thank you so much, Jiro's garden! These were PERFECT. My fiance and I went to Hawaii in May and ate this all week and when I asked my fiance what he'd like for his birthday dinner, Okinawan sweet potatoes are what he specified! We live in upstate NY and you can't find them here but it truly made his day that I found them for him. Boiled them just to soften, cut in wedges and then roasted with some cinnamon sugar. Then tossed them with salt. The whole family was so intrigued and loved them. Thank you for shipping to NY-- it really made our dinner that much more special.

Disappointed in lack of freshness getting rotten potatoes

Good taste but over priced

Just took these out of the oven with my other roasted sweet potatoes and as much as I love sweet potatoes, these purple ones blow the others away. So tasty!! They arrived quickly in good condition 4 total for 2 lbs. If you don't know what 2 lbs of potatoes look like I suggest you weigh one at your market before ordering. Sometimes one potato can weigh 2 lbs. I've expanded my horizons and am happier for it. Will order again. Thank you!
